Watch an expert play Sin & Punishment: Star Successor
19
Have you been going through your day, feeling like an adequate member of the human race? That's silly -- at this time of day, you really should be feeling down in the dumps, like you can't do anything right. So, in the interest of your mental health, we offer the latest trailer for Sin & Punishment: Star Successor past the break. To tell you the truth, it's less an actual trailer than it is a collection of segments where somebody is kicking so much ass.
Seriously, we're pretty sure the "person" playing is actually a robot. A robot we envy with all of our being.

I watched the vid and although it looks cool I doesn't have the OMG moments that I get when I see somebody beating a megaman game without getting hit. I guess you have to had actually played the game to know how skillful he is. :/

I believe that Mushihime-sama video clip has the game on the hardest difficulty mode. It's still bullet hell in its easiest mode, I'm sure, but not quite that level of intensity.
One of the most eye-popping video game feats I've ever seen is this guy's death-defying antics in the Gradius III (arcade) cube rush: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an0qDwbvVgU
Then there's this guy's impressive evasion moves in Slap Fight for the Mega Drive:

How in the hell do you play this with a wimote? Jesus, I guess you sort of un-focus your eyes and just instinctively fire and dodge with both hands.
I hope that game is incredibly forgiving or people may begin to suspect Nintendo put it out to profit off of the peripherals destroyed in anger by players as a result.

this game looks awesome. But it doesn't look like it should be a full price retail release IMO.

Not true. There are youtube videos of Isa at like 80% to 100% health for each stage.
Everyone and their pup has been complaining about the way Kachi plays though.

It looks like there's a lot more side scrolling in this than in the first one. Hopefully, they've improved on that because the left-to-right sections toward the end of the first game was nowhere near as good as the rest of the game.

It looks like a blast but I agree with the censored dude that $50 is a bit much, not that I care as I got a $20 credit from amazon due to Super Mario Galaxy2. :D
I have the first on my N64 and it was money well spent and I feel this looks to be right up there in fun factor. I like the mix up of a starfox and side scroller feel this game series gets. I'm not much of a shooter player anymore since they went away from Gradius types to aggravating unfun memory match bullet hell stuff.
