Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC is coming back
22
It's been a roller coaster ride this year for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 fans. First, all DLC for the game vanished from PSN -- it was explained that the DLC was merely a "limited time offer." Then, it vanished from Xbox Live, too. Now, gamers are forced to simply play the game itself, deprived of access to all DLC. Can you imagine the horror?
But fear not, for the DLC is returning when it's needed most -- just like a good superhero. Word comes via Hero HQ that the DLC is coming back, and we've managed to confirm it first-hand with an Activision rep. Sadly, the rep couldn't provide us with a timeframe for re-release, but as soon as The Journalistor defeats Red Tape Man, we'll be sure to let you know the details.
[Thanks, Catherine]

This was really strange considering some much older titles have their DLC available for purchase still.

I just rented this game again last week, its fun but not as good as the first one. To bad they took away the DLC because I really like Carnage, I just wish they would bring him back some how.

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga I'm talking about the comic books since he was supposedly killed, but he's just too bad ass and seriously Spiderman never encountered anyone as crazy as Carnage.

So they wait til most people aren't interested in the game anymore and re-release old dlc. Smooth move Activision. I wouldn't d/l this if it was free.

I actually spent a great deal of time looking for the DLC a few weeks ago. Then I read they took it down. Good to know it's coming back.

I can't imagine how many downloads they've lost because of this. I know that I was going to get them, but they pulled them before I had the chance to purchase it, and now I don't have the game anymore.

I know the game is pretty old now, but it would be great that with the re-release of the DLC they put out some new character DLC packs as well (for those who bought the DLC the first time around). That would get me back into the game for a little while at least.
