@emmyliang This seems like a good way to test what happens when you reply to a deleted comment with the new comment system.

@Streeks1984

Have you not been following the development of this game at all??

The creator of the ORIGINAL NBA Jam is the lead guy on this one.

I'm still sad this isn't coming out for the 360 and PS3. I loved NBA Jam back in the Genesis days :(

i totally agree. i'm super pissed this is not being released on xbla and psn. i mean i had both nba jam's for sega back in the day. i supported them back then, so they need to help me buy their game now and give it to me on xbla!

Yeah. Also, I miss the way Old-Timey-'Stiq® had icons showing what systems each article was pertinent too. I got my hopes up until I saw the tiny "wii" tag at the bottom. Please bring back that functionality, seems like it shouldn't be too difficult.

The items are there but only on the homepage. But I agree, the articles themselves should have that info too.

@Nintari Uh what? Sega was kicking the crap out of Nintendo in sales for most of the Genesis' life? Really?

Well if you count the two years the SNES wasn't on the market I suppose that might be correct. Even then by 1992 they were pretty much neck and neck, implying that the SNES sales had to be greater than the Genesis just 2 years into it's life to catch up to that two year head start. Admittedly as you said it didn't dominate in terms of market share until a few years after that when the Genesis was long in the tooth. But let's not rewrite history here.

Maybe the screenshots just don't do that style justice. The stills just make me slightly uncomfortable rather than generate any interest in this.

Kind dumb how they picked the players for the teams. The rosters are gonna be completely different in real life when this comes out.

@deddyluger i was thinking about that too. hopefully you can update the roster as the season progresses but i doubt they implemented that.

Why does it seem the people that review games are always terrible at them? Surely they all can't be that humble?

I loved the original Jam on SNES. I still play it to this day with cousins. As for the AI having more fun that you, I bet the final game will have an option to fix that.

In the original, you could go to the 'options' menu for that game you can turn on 'tag mode' and turn off 'computer assistance' which allowed for you to control both players on your team. There's no reason for this feature to be missing in the new game.
