"Childish humor"

This surprises me very little.

One of the many games to fall into this group. I think I will be giving this one a miss.

Mmmm... butt-plug... *drool*

This seems to be a decent 'mediocre' game; I'll give it a look when it comes out.

And I always thought Leisure Suit Larry would be the first franchise to pioneer butt plug puzzles...

@(Unverified) I don't remember my Splatterhouse games being "serious" at all, if developers are aiming to recreate the spirit of movies like Dead Alive i say it's the right path.

Is the retail version still coming with all previous games included? i'd like to know that Xav.

I'm pretty disappointed by this "preview". I really didn't learn very much about this game and instead learned that Xav doesn't like low-brow humour and boobs in his games. How about telling us about the controls, executing the special moves and other elements in the game.

@ruffneck Well said. Seriously, outrageous-ness is the backbone of the series. In one of the games you had to fight a possessed Teddy Bear. Stepping it up a couple notches is a natural progression for the series.

Personally, I can't wait cause I liked playing the Splatterhouse in the Turbo-Graphix 16 and Genesis.

Seems like they would have been better off focusing this in its more arcade-style heritage. There have been few enough full retail arcade-style games, but there's definitely a demand for them, and this game's style would have fit better there.

Bandai Namco has seemed rather clueless lately.

Butt-plug. Puzzle.

I read that in Kevin Butler's voice.
