Seems like they have a good plan. I'm all for being able to play a demo right away on my browser. It would likely expose me to games I wouldn't care to wait to download a demo of on xbla.

I much more prefer this sort of thing. Rather than take over the market, expand it.

Wow, this guy has a great mind for business. While OnLive may rot due to its pricing structure, I don't see how this can't succeed. It's literally a win-win-win situation for everyone.

More server coverage would be nice (but I'm in the UK so either way I won't be getting coverage for a while), but this is impressive.

"If someone starts fooling around with the licensing I don't want that game. There's another game somewhere else that we'll take. We're not going to start tap dancing."

Wow, I like this guy already.

That's a lot of servers. Hope this works out really well, because those green dots look like a huge infrastructure to maintain. The monthly bill must be pretty expensive.

Hope the VC cash burns long enough to actually profit, if there's any to be had. Even if it doesn't succeed, at least Perry is experimenting with interesting business models, and not making more games like Enter the Matrix.

"Perry says he even plans to donate extra server time to indie games"

Hard to believe, but I like it if true.
Also, I echo that this business model is way more savvy than Onlive's

I have to agree, this is a much smarter way of doing the cloud gaming than Onlive. This works for everyone, and there will be no up front cost to the consumer. Looking forward to trying this out, and I'm in green, so I should see them.

The only flaw I see with this system is that when I'm browsing the internet, I'm not holding my controller. Making me play most games with a Mouse/Keyboard could have a detrimental effect on the experience.

Worse, much of the time I spend browsing these days is on my iPhone (insert alternative smartphone where applicable) and viewing the stripped down mobile version.
