Time for a bit more of the Portal 2 E3 demo

Valve's agonizing piecemeal delivery of footage from the Portal 2 E3 demo continues. These clips introduce Pneumatic Diversity Vents and Thermal Discouragement Beams, because simply creating conduits between two points in space (four in co-op) wasn't complicated enough.

Sure, those are just vacuums and lasers, respectively, but it's still enough to give us a headache in anticipation of future gameplay complexity. Luckily, no space-bending guns are required to see the videos -- simply click past the post break and they'll go directly into your eyes.

I find that line ironic when Gabe showed Portal 2 at Sony's E3 press conference.

I can only imagine how complex some of the portal puzzles are going to be...my mind is going to explode

why is Valve showing off all of this gameplay footage?

i haven't seen any of it past the E3 trailer at the Sony conference so not to spoil the game when I play it for myself. I'd rather pick it up on launch and learn how to play on my own then watch tons of videos before release.

there's 100 ways to solve a puzzle, this is just showing off the new mechanics.

This game looks so epic.

But sadly I can't play this since it's not going to be on 360 any time soon.

If they keep making the turrets more likable I'm going to start to feel bad about destroying them.

This game puts a smile on my face :).

I've been trying my hardest to not get too excited for this game, but Valve has now pushed me to the hype point of no return.

All this stuff was shown on a half dozen other sites the week of E3; off-screen recorded, of course, so this direct stuff is nice, but I wish Joystiq would stop repeatedly trying to trick me into thinking some brand new never-before-seen footage has been released.

Okay... Now, I consider Portal to be perhaps the most wonderful game I've ever played,(Psychonauts is pretty close competition) and I love how these videos look, but am I the only one who notices that there doesn't seem to be much added gameplay to this?

Unless Portal 2 comes with turrets that can't simply be knocked over, all of them could have been taken out without needing to burn them or suck them into a pipe at all.

Everytime I see portal 2 I think it would be a really awesome PS Move title.

Ignoring the hasty Left 4 Dead sequel, Valve can seemingly do no wrong. If the portal gun is found on the Borealis, I will be one very happy gamer!

So why doesn't the player get sucked in by those pipes? I want to go on a ride too!

I have played first part of this game and i like this demo, t think this will also going to be rocking , do you have any other more information about Portal 2?
