While I agree with this completely..... I'm a sucker, and I still care. I love Psylocke, and I was bummed when I missed out on the DLC. I think I was waiting for it to get cheaper... and now I don't care, I'm just gonna buy it.
...but yeah, MUA1 > MUA2... if for no other reason then the ridiculous story. When you have such a huge catalog of awesome villains... why make your own?? Didn't EA's Marvel Nemesis teach them anything?

Should do this to mw2 and see how the kids will act towards it. I would make some popcorn to watch the event.

With the exception of Magneto, I wish they had gone with someone good for the DLC.

@(Unverified) While they may not be top tier characters. they're all very, very powerful in-game. Magneto and cable were often in my hard difficulty team, and psylocke spent more time in my party than the requisite stat unlocking for outfits time.

Didn't you hear? The best way to make money is to not leave your content available for purchase forever, it's best to let people download it for a couple of months and then take it off the market.

Actually what they're currently doing is the only way they can get more sales from the game. people who go "Oh ill wait till it gets cheaper and ill pick it up." will go instead "Man i gotta pick up the game and download those sweet characters before they get taken off the store.".
Honestly this doesn't work on me one bit. oh and even if people just DL the DLC and wait till the game hits the bargain bin Actisatan still makes profit, if they left it on the store then people will wait it out until a big sale comes to the online store and they pick it up then.

Well it has exactly the opposite effect on me. I look at it and go, so I pay for it, but then something happens to my drive or my PS3 down the line and suddenly what I paid for is gone for good? No thanks.
It's stuff like this that makes me support physical media every time. Publishers simply cannot be trusted to keep downloadable products available after you've paid for them.

I made sure I got it when it was first available, however I was never impressed with the selection.
I bought it anyway, because it was hoped at the time that good sales would get MORE DLC made in the future.
I would have like to see more actual HEROES, and especially heroes that were not already in the game as NPC's, so no Cable or Black Panther, and no Magneto and Carnage.
Psylocke is one of my least favorite characters in Marvel, so I would have preferred a different female hero.
Characters like:
Mockingbird
Hellcat
Scarlet Witch
Hawkeye
Falcon
Cyclops
Ghost Rider
Dr. Strange
Silver Surfer
Namor, The Submariner
Union Jack
Captain Britain
Beast
Angel or ArchAngel
Dazzler
Elektra
None of the above characters were even mentioned in the game, and would have made decent additions to the cast. Each would have been able to be used on either the Pro or Anti side, without having to face themselves in battle somewhere in the story.
I would have preferred them to stay away from a story that forces you to fight a PC character on subsequent play throughs...so that there was no Iron Man vs Iron man, or Captain America vs Captain America battles later on.
Vicarious Visions made a good attempt to adapt a well read story line into a game ( I wouldn't really call Civil War a POPULAR story line), but they did not think through the replay value.
I was very happy with the game play of MUA 2, but think MUA 1 was more fun to play for a much longer period of time over all.
