@SolidSnakeEyes

I cant recommend listening to some CCR playlists on YouTube enough.

If you actively buy RB DLC, this is one of the best collections of songs they have ever released.

@Clydeftones I'm not a particularly heavy buyer of music game DLC. While I enjoy playing just about any song on-disc, I will normally only purchase additional DLC songs by my favorite bands, which is not too often. But just for you, I'm gonna check out the songs from this pack and see what I think. The other factor is that while RB is by farrrrr the better game in terms of DLC I'm a little hesitant to invest more money into RB because I find the note charts in GH a lot more fun to play (I only play guitar medium, yeah I suck.) Anyway, I will check these out!

@SolidSnakeEyes

I am overwhelmed by the lack of rage in this conversation. Are you sure this is happening on the internets?

Anyway, since you usually dont spend your money on this type of thing I would recommend this course of action instead: listen to the songs via YouTube and then search for the song charts on tuesday afternoon on YouTube as well. Getting a glimpse at how the song will be played heavily reduces the risk of buying something you wont enjoy.

Hope it goes well.

@Clydeftones Yeah, I don't usually get worked up online unless somebody else starts it. Anyway, you make a good point about checking Youtube, I always do that before buying songs. Nice talking to someone with a brain, I would let you know whether I end up buying the songs or not but by then this thread will be ancient history. Later!

Guess I'm going broke on RB songs this week between the CCR pack and the sale starting next week I'm glad a grabbed a points card during Best Buy's 20% off Canada Day Sale, but it looks like I should have gotten two.

Dude, we'll get a forensics team on that one right away. Maybe dust for prints or something.

This story made me go see if the 11-minute version of "I Heard It Through The Grape Vine" was available as a stand-alone mp3 on Amazon. Damn thing is an album-only addition so Amazon can force you to pay for an entire album because they know you just want that one song. How annoying.

I bought it anyway - a masterpiece is a masterpiece.

Amazon just did you a favor. Cosmo's Factory is a stacked album.

Heard It Through The Grapevine is a very cool and chill solo. I'll definitely buy that.

Kinda miffed I have to repurchase Fortunate Son, though.

See just when I think all hope is gone, with Miley Cyrus and Nickelback being released back to back, HMX does something like this. AND TOTALLY REDEEM THEMSELVES! The Ozzy pack was also awesome.

Dammit Hmx, I guess I'm going to have to break my no budgetary blockade for this.

I suppose I'm dreaming to wish that all DLC from here on out is going to take advantage of RB3's features?

Love Creedence - they're the best southern rock band next to The Band.
