What the hell!? At last, they decide to include music games in the price drop! Peace Sells, Metallica and Pearl Jam you're all mine!

No love for Rust in peace? *sniffle*

@louiedog me too. Stupid me bought all the songs/packs that might interest me from this list already.

Not to mention the best stuff (like the Queen pack or the Judas Priest album) still are full price. Meh.

@DeXterminator

We usually don't see stuff swag'd out for quite a while. Don't worry about it.

This makes me feel bad about myself for buying 1 song from most of those packs. *sigh*

@Curtis17
If it makes you feel any better, if you only bought one song, with the prices the way they are you'd still save some points if you bought the whole pack now.

The Metallica pack is only 240 points, and if you'd bought a 160 point track from it before, then it would still be only 400 points, 40 points cheaper than the pack normally is.

If only they would discount the premium themes, permanantly. I will not pay 250 ms points for a crumby theme when I can get a full game for 400 - 800 ms points. Why the hell are they so expensive? /rant

I don't own any music games but this sure looks like a great deal, maybe I should buy one while the DLC is this cheap.

Well, this is not just a Rock Band thing, this is a Xbox 360 event. Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Lips are all getting discounts. This is Microsoft, not Harmonix. Do you want Microsoft to give PS3 players a discount? That seems like something Microsoft would do, really.

And don't blame Harmonix for not putting RBN on the PS3, if Sony had something like XNA, Rock Band Network would be on it. Just be grateful that you are getting 5 RBN songs at all. The Wii players are getting nothing.

@(Unverified) you're welcome to have the discounts once you trade up to a 360.

I got sick of Madden games after '94. Doesn't mean I've complained about them for the last 16 years.

Anyone wanna hear my hustle for this? No? Well I'm going to tell you anyway

Preordered Mario Galaxy 2.. $20 credit from Amazon for any game or gaming accessory. 1600 point card went on sale for $16, got that for free. Downloaded the Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters albums :)

2. ????
3. PROFIT!!

Also, if you haven't picked up the Megadeth album and are an expert player, do so. I find that most people have that album online and it makes for an amazing gold star experience
