@DokiDokiBawanga You know, I'd love to see Lego Final Fantasy VII.

That way I'll laugh since the fanboys would finally get the remake they want so much.

If it sticks to WB IP, probably LEGO Justice League, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, or Looney Tunes, Merry Melodies, or even Tiny Toons and Animaniacs. I wouldn't doubt seeing a LEGO Prince of Persia game or hopefully a LEGO LEGO game combining all the awesome old LEGO sets like Royal Knights, Ice Planet, and Aquazone.

We'll only see sets based on existing Lego property, and they're definitely not going to go with anything overly mature because it would hurt their brand image. Look at how quickly they dropped Batman after the Dark Knight came out.

We know Lego Star Wars III is next, then they'll likely do the remaining Harry Potter movies. After that I'd say the Hobbit is likely, assuming Lego do pick up the liscence.

@DokiDokiBawanga And i for once want to see a proper lego game. you know where you build stuff. Anything you want. And then you get to try out stuff. like if you build a plane or ship or a car then build a town or race track or obstacle course. that will be fun!
yas all my old legos were given away to friend's children.

@Dance Love Pop

The fact that Aquazone, Royal Knights and Ice Planet are considered old makes me feel REALLY old.

I'll be in the corner playing with my cowboy Lego.

For some reason i had forgotten that this was a British franchise at heart. Stupid i know, but i was scratching my head for a moment as to why this was so popular over there.

@Mr Khan: Don't think it's just Britain...

That said, the other Lego games did pretty well over here too, so combine that with a popular license and some good price offers and there you go. It's also available on all formats including DS (come on, that's hardly the same game) whereas most titles are either PS3/60 or Wii, so that gives this an advantage given that Joystiq quote the all-formats chart.

The 'actual' chart (individual formats) is:

1. Mario Galaxy
2. Red Dead 360
3. Lego Harry Potter 360
4. Red Dead PS3
5. Lego HP Wii
6. Dance on Broadway
7. Lego HP DS
8. Lego HP PS3
9. Just Dance
10. Tiger Woods PS3

Wow, I'm genuinely surprised the LEGO franchise still sells a lot.

To be perfectly fair, as someone who mostly dislikes the franchise, or at least who considers the games a bit old hat, LEGO HP is arguably the best in the series. I didn't even want to give it the time of day, and I'm a huge HP fan, and it's ended up being quite delightful so far.

I'm surprised they still sell too, but LHP definitely deserves the sales and completely regret being so negative about it.
