If you're anything like us, you're spending today avoiding the family that only comes around once or twice a year and hanging out with the ol' Xbox 360 (preferably with air conditioning as well). And though we have tons of games from the unusually busy first half of this year to still play catch up with, who are we to turn down this week's Xbox Live Arcade deals? Out of the four titles -- Mega Man 10, Scrap Metal, Death By Cube, and After Burner Climax -- all but one are half off, and even that one (Scrap Metal) is dropped in price by a third.
So what're you waiting for? It's not like you'd be silly enough to spend today actually outside. There's sun out there! Gross!
Xbox Live Deals of the Week: Mega Man 10, Scrap Metal, Death By Cube, and After Burner Climax

Gamesradar says Castlevania come out July 28. Source: http://www.gamesradar.com/f/the-games-of-july-2010/a-20100701144756114055/p-3
As far as I know Summer of Arcade usually runs through August, not July. I am looking forward to Castlevania and Limbo myself. We do have DeathSpank releasing next week though!

Unless you are a Wii owner. I love my Wii but it is frustrating that things never go on sale on Virtual Console or Wii Ware. Not even games like Tales of Monkey Island or Mega Man or other third party games that do go on sale on the other consoles.

I'm totally addicted to these XBLA sales. I'm buying at least a game every week. But when they're $5 price tags, it's hard to say no.
Mega Man 10 -> yay or nay?

@Adam Dorsey the great thing about the little blue bomber is that you could have missed the last nine games and would still be caught up with this "evil scientist makes evil robots with themed area and evil world domination plans ensue" lol lord I love mega man :D and btw add me to the list of people that was broken by mega man 9 I feel like I lost some of my gamer mojo over time I used to be able to rock mega man but not so much now

There's no difference. You can buy it on XBL or WiiWare too. It won't hurt you.

@Happyman I'm kinda in the same boat i would love for it to go on sale on PSN. I have all three consoles but I do not pay for xbox live gold, I just don't get enough time lately to dedicate to gaming to warrant the purchase right now with three kids. Plus I am I have to play through mass effect 1 and 2 fallout 3 and oblivion and re5. I got those from steam sales so my plate is full for a while with those long games.

I think the whole PSN Plus thing has put a fire under MS's ass to start turning out better sales.
Prior to the past two months, I don't remember Live having more than one game or piece of content on sale at a time, much less highly acclaimed games.
Picked up both MM10 and After Burner. Live is ALIVE!

No joke, I've started buying a new game or two almost every week. MS is stepping up their game dramatically.

OK, but then MS has to worry about dozens of countries tax structures, not to mention 50 USA state's sales taxes. Or, they can use an arbitrary "stored value system" where 400 points in USA is the same as 400 points in the UK or Japan or Germany. Sounds easier for everyone, I'd think.
