This Wednesday: Monkey Island 2, Blacklight tango on XBLA
12
Newly remasted, LucasArts' Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge has charted a course for Xbox Live Arcade, where it will arrive alongside Blacklight: Tango Down tomorrow, July 7. LeChuck's Revenge plan hasn't deviated since it was finalized a week ago, but the scheduled Blacklight drop zone was called into question last week when the game's publisher, Ignition Entertainment, could not confirm the date.
Today, Ignition formally announced the multiplayer shooter's deployment on XBLA for tomorrow, adding that the PSN and PC versions will arrive in "the coming weeks." BlackLight: Tango Down will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge can be had for 800 MSP ($10).

AAA FPS games exist because all dat cash goes towards making it look good and explosive, as in the case of CoD.
XBLA/PSN games have smaller budgets, and therefore are forced to innovate and introduce new concepts or mechanics or new graphical designs so as to intrigue the player.
Blacklight apparently didn't get the memo.

Whats with all this Blacklight Tango Down put downs? I think its great that a game Dev can release a game with a mutliplayer with 4 modes and 12 maps also some 4 coop maps for a small budget then add a dumbed down SP and call it a 60 dollar game and put the sticker "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2" on it to make every 12 year old prematurely jizz in there tidy whit-ties.

I hope to get both of these, but not right now. There's too much good stuff coming up, I can wait.
