Why does America get it before Europe? If anything it's just pissing off their target market.

One of the most anticipated features for me when I pre-ordered FIFA 10 was the "web-based application" that let me put in my photo and enter my face in the game without having to buy a crappy $50 webcam for my xbox 360. I tried it on the first two days of owning the game and got repeated server failures. after hearing about it failing for other people due to overloading the servers, I tried again after a month... FAIL. I tried again about 3 more times through the past year, every time it utterly failed.

EA, DON'T advertise your "creation centre" crap if it's not going to work, and FIX this option in FIFA 10 so I can at least play that from now until late september.

Now... Spain vs. Germany match!

Hopefully it will allow for custom images for the logos rather than, say, pick from those used by teams in game.

"no word yet on an "always" setting to enable the authentic, ever-present droning of the vuvuzela."
Wait, why would that be in FIFA 11? Shouldn't that be patched into the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa game instead?

Why isn't FIFA 10 on sale? On Amazon it's 59.00 for PS3. If it doesn't go down I'll just wait for this game.

I still stand by the opinion that this game should have a World wide release date but gotta say its nice North America isn't the region having to wait.

The major problem I have with "Personality+" is the greater emphasis it puts on skill ratings issued by the game, so essentially if a player has the misfortune of not being reputed or rated highly enough by FIFA's researchers (whom I have often found lacking, in comparison with Football Manager's researchers, for example) he'll greatly suffer in the game. So, you'll have the higher rated teams dominate and boss the lower rated or underrated teams time and time again, whether it be in the online or AI modes. This is really a very arcade experience, not realistic, as we saw in this year's World Cup, when the "giants" or higher rated teams have definitely suffered and lost; you won't see this replicated with this system. That's what the fun of football is about: underdogs beating giants with determination, young (or even old in some cases) players who no one had even heard previously turning into the world's best: their reputation (or lack of) therefore having no significance. This is my main beef with FIFA; I'll stick with Football Manager for my football fix, thanks.
