Some poor Bartender somewhere is going to have an iPhone shoved in his face by some half-drunk psycho shouting, "CAN YOU MAKE ME THIS DRINK THAT I MADE IN THIS GAME ONCE?

SEE IT? RIGHT HERE? THE BLIND LADY LOVED IT."

Man, I'm not at all sure this is Japanese. In fact, I'm pretty sure it isn't.

@Rob Liv Haha, part of my inspiration for naming the game was to be an homage of quirky Japanese games I liked.

@xThePunisherx What I give incredible props to Justin on is that he's a reviewer who actually played through the entire game from start to finish (3+ hours), this is proven by the fact that he was able to unlock the certificate. Well done and why Joystiq rocks!

@Courtney A few classic drinks in the game I'd recommend in real life are the SIDECAR and the awesome ginger beer combo: MOSCOW MULE / DARK AND STORMY

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Sidecar? As in the margarita? I remember having one the night after I graduated college aka the heavy drinking period of my life. It was amazing! Since that night seven years ago, I still have not found one that could make it or if they were able to look it up, make it well. Now I just need an iDevice thingermabob.

;)

@2 bit gamer , if you have any questions at all about the game or bartending please drop me an email (it's all over the nimblestrong.com site). I'm happy to coach anyone who needs any help transitioning from the game to real world drink mixing!

Maybe you should try Nier again now that you're sufficiently drunk!

...is it bad every time I see his name that's all I can think of anymore?

OH. I thought he was the creator of you, making you a hyper-advanced robot (possibly from the future) with intent on destroying us all.
And I was okay with that.

I am the sads.

@studiored This is the most common request we've received, I'd LOVE to port to Android, but we're very low on funds and it'll take a while to even recoup our investment, but it's on the radar :). Thanks for your interest!

Games not teaching you something. Really?

I feel I would be pretty well equipped (hee-hee) to mentally handle the zombie apocalypse when it happens after the time I have spent with the Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead and other zombie games out there.

"Aim for the head, the f*cking head!"

@AdamAGB

Just made some killer margaritas tonight.

Two regulars and one pomegranate for me and the little lady.

Anyway....cardio (Zombieland) will save me physically, that and checking the back seat, stretching and double-tap.

This actually sounds a lot like the 2000 game Last Call. That was also a great, and educational, game.

@playersadvocate When joystiq asked me for screen shots yesterday because they were reviewing the game I became incredibly nervous--I'd played my own game so many hundreds of times that I didn't objectively even know if it was any good or not and after putting two years into it I was really dreading the possibility of a negative review. I was too nervous to even visit Joystiq throughout the day, I had a friend refresh it every half hour and then tell me if the review was "poor", "good", or "great" - what a memorable moment when he IMed me the good news! As of this moment it's still the only major site (gaming, apple-related, etc.) to review the game, but hopefully it helps convince other places to take a look.

@AdamAGB Been playing it this evening and really enjoying it. I love the voice over, makes it seem quite tongue in cheek. Humour is really good as well and love the recipe book as well. Don't need to go and buy a cocktail making book now.

I don't really buy a lot of apps off the store, because they are so terrible, but I'm really impressed with this. Good work Adam, hope it sells well for you, I'll put up a review on iTunes for you.

Best bit of the game: when you fail a certain drink and it says "where did you learn to bartend? A videogame?"
