@pika2000

I dunno, let em have their fun... some people gotta start somewhere. I don't care what they do just as long as they leave my games alone.

Like the next Mass Effect better not require 'kinect' or whatever that thing is called, just like a Demon's Souls sequel better not require 'move' etc.

Outside of that, they can play with their pets, hit their balls on the walls or a combination of the two until their eyes bleed and I'll golf clap them on with a smile.

We've come full circle. "Pong" is back in vogue.

You know one of the things I LOVE about Move?

The design precludes most junk "sports" attachments of the type that seem to be taking over the Wii section at Gamestop.

Honestly, I'm not completely excited from what I have seen of the Move. The only thing I'm hoping for is that all of Wii's good third-party games get scooped up like House of the Dead, Dead Space:Extraction, and No More Heroes. Hell, maybe even a chance to replay RE:4 with updated graphics and motion control would sell me on it. Basically if third-party motion control developers go multi-platform with the Wii and PS3 I will be sold. Right now...not so much...

@Grey dead space extraction will come bundled with dead space 2 and support move.. Resident evil 5 Gold Edition will have Move support like RE4 for the wii.. Both already done and both coming at or near launch, infact the RE5 game is a bundle in japan

Thanks for the heads up. I knew DS: Extraction was coming with DS2 though. It's going to be so epic. Loved the original Dead Space. I can't see me getting another of RE5 just for Move support though. I bought it before the gold edition so, oh well. Why do early adopters always seem to get screwed in the long run?

Hmm, looks pretty cool.

I'm actually somewhat looking forward to picking up a MOVE when it's released.

If only because it's something new.

I dont consider these type of games shovel ware, games like this are actually really good forms of exercise and great multiplayer fun.. Rainy day outside, can play this indoors.. This is phyiscal games represented on screen, stuff like this is all good by me, I dont mind if it plays well and mechanics are semi realistic I will get it, if only for entertainment purposes..

Imagine playing something like this online without friend codes could be really fun..

Exactly. No one cares how accurate the Move is. Well, no one that matters. All you'll be seeing, besides increasingly sad 1st-party support, are HD versions of the Wii's shittiest third-party games. Enjoy!

@Nintari

I don't get it either, but then again I see the other side of that coin too...what people see is that "OMG, they are making Mo-cap tech for the HD systems now there will be endless shovelware etc..." so naturally they will start to trip about it...

What the sheep don't realize, is that the mountain of shovelware on the Wii is *not* entirely because of the motion controllers...its because Nintendo is practically *giving* away licensing to promote a large library of titles, good or bad.

(Partial reference.)
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118011476751914861.html

So unless Sony and friends decide to start giving away their development kits to Playskool, Gogogadgetsoft, Fisher Price, or whatever nameless shovelware company out there...the only shovelware that will be produced is the same companies that make their favorite games.

I like playing table tennis a lot, but i'll ask myself the same question I did with the Wii version.

Sports Champions already has table tennis. Given that the other 5 games are going to be variations of tennis, why should I want this instead of Sports Champions?

So yeah, I'm seeing this as a cash-in.

There is nothing wrong with a WiiHD patch for PS3. We know Nintendo ain't gonna come up with a real thing quite yet.
