Have you taken the time to familiarize yourself with some of the biggest moments in the history of the Wipeout franchise? The original game's ship date? The day Psygnosis was acquired and rebranded SCE Studio Liverpool? How about the time young Billy Caruthers first traveled fast enough in Wipeout 64 to break the sound barrier, causing the speakers of his 17-inch television and his left eardrum to disintegrate?
You can learn all about these momentous occasions by visiting the "Wipeout Museum" space, which recently opened in PlayStation Home. The space celebrates the franchise's 15th birthday with a few scale models of the game's hovercrafts and a couple of interactive minigames -- you know, games like Wipeout Shooter, which recreates all the thrilling shooting gallery action for which the core series is known.

You spelled WipEout wrong, Griffin. It's WipEout not Wipeout.

Has to be a joke.
Otherwise WipEout 2D (Available at the end of the ship hangar) is the best game out of both I think. Too bad you can only play it solo while WipEout Shooter can be played either duel or coop.

You all can access Home? I still can't, after almost 4 months... I've deleted it, and reinstalled. I've deleted the saved data... I don't understand, b/c I keep getting requests for invites to the clubhouse I have, but I can't access the damn thing... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! (FWIW, I run wireless, without any option to run wired. The cable would be to long and cumbersome....)

This is actually a really awesome idea. I'm a bit of a nerd so I like learning about this kind of stuff. If they had museums for a variety of games it could actually be pretty awesome. :O
Like a free virtual museum. ^^

@PhilipJWitow I contacted sony support b/c it keeps telling me that i'm not a master account, and can't leave my home. They told me I would have to back up my stuff and reset the ps3 back to factory defaults. I haven't had the urge to get around to it. I was in it when the open beta started and after the third update is when I couldn't access it.

Talk about salting the wound...
No DLC for ages, fire everyone at Studio Liverpool, hack out the 3D version, then wrap it all up in a museum. Yikes Sony.
I'd be curious to hear what the ex-Psygnosis/Studio Liverpool crew thinks of this. Seems a might distasteful to me.
