Sigh!
Y'know Ubisoft, games featuring pretty unicorns don't have to suck.

Games for everyone? These games are almost exclusively suited to the female and homersexual segments of the population.

I'm not complaining, just teasin'

...hmm, if I had a DS I might want to secretly play the Resort Management sim. But I'm not gay, I just have issues.

@delicatessen lama
Hey, my uncle's gay and he doesn't play this shit.
And all the females I know are too busy with Mario Kart and Peggle to waste their time with this crap, or not gaming at all.

In fact, the only people who will play these games are people who don't know any better. And those people will play good games too.
So arguably, these are games for no-one.

@Esposch :: Spot on, you would be a good product planner or quality advisor for Ubisoft.

They probably made this series just so they could tell their investors they are doing stuff... I don't know I'm just talking "bla bla bla" though.

joystiq, you didn't quote the full title of the press release.

"Games for Everyone.....but YOU."

Actually everyone means the preteen girls. My Daughter loves this kind of crap. I am positive she will want one or both of the fashion design titles. She will also spend more time playing it than I will get to spend on the new Assassin's Creed. She isn't a dumb kid either, she enjoys real video games as well. Ubisoft must be doing something right with these titles, they just aren't for the average Joystiq reader. Remember more money spent on games = more games being produced. Some will be for me some won't

STELLAR list of games. To be honest, I'm not too sure about Imagine Fashion Stylist and I'm on the fence about Petz Fantasy. But the others are Day 1 purchases for me. I might even spring for three copies of Petz Nursery 2 (One for gaming, one for the shelf and the other to sell on eBay in a few years).
