Better late than never, right? Gears of War ($20), Bioshock ($20) and Max Payne ($10) have been added to Games for Windows Live's Games on Demand service.

Still to this day I'll break out my Xbox copy of Max Payne on cold winter weekend. So many great memories

I have also had quite a few problems with it and GFWL is great. However, I still use steam just because of their deals. Microsoft should be spending some kind of energy in making it a better experience.

You've got to be joking. I'll take Steam over GFWL any day. GFWL forces you to login just to save in single player, their download library is dismal, and the microphone communication is atrocious.

Oh look! A digital distribution platform that isn't Steam. Let's all laugh at it!

I have to admit, when it comes to digital distribution on PC, Steam just kills the competition. That's not saying that I don't want competition, competition is always good, but GFWL at the moment is something I don't want to even go near (everytime I open it, I close it shortly after with a "WTF did I just use")

I'll get Gears Of War,but first I wanna find out if all the glitches have been ironed out. The original Gears of War PC was a mess. That had freezing issues, launching issues and needed to be patched. It was then abandoned by EPIC. So let's see if they fixed all that.

Hmm I wouldn't mind picking up gears for a refresher and some achievements.

I wish more games on the PC had "LIVE".
Its pretty cool having your PC games linked with you 360 for achievements, I've been asked a couple of times what Dawn of War II is since it has achievements and so on.

Well, at least they haven't *completely* abandoned GFW.

Sales aren't what made Steam popular, it was the service they offered. The original Steam gave anyone who owned a copy of half-life to enter their key and have access to the all the games (hl, cs, tfc, etc) and everything else it evolved in to after that. Until MS can offer something other than a sale here and there, then it's just any regular ass digital distribution program. Not to mention that since the 360 is their main priority, this will probably take a backseat as far as support goes.
I do like the idea of having achievements tied to the 360's and all, but the GFWL client still feels extremely bare.

Just in the nick of time.
No wait, it's two years too late. My bad.
