"With one Trophy requiring 1,000 kills, it would appear that the add-on is lengthy enough to allow players to rack up such an impressive body count."

That makes about as much sense as assuming Gears of War 2's campaign is thousands of hours long just because there is an achievement for killing 100,000 enemies.

I think what they meant is that you'll be replaying the DLC for an extended period of time to get that certain trophy.

@AutobotIronhide

I don't think Fred's comment suggested that he didn't understand that.

Oh, I thought he meant that Joystiq was suggesting that GOW2's campaign would be thousands of hours long for the 100,000 kills achievement.

@Prboi

Guess you've never played Mafia 1 or even heard of it.

Shut up and do some research

Sadly, I haven't bought one single game all year long. If reviews turn out good enough, this may be my one game for the year.

@(Unverified)

I've never played Mafia 1, but everyone that have played it has told me this is one of the best games they've played, much better than GTA (Story-wise)

@Ashkental It was pretty amazing for it's time but I don't find it completely fair to compare it to GTA. Sure they are in the same genre, but a lot of little differences in game play and mechanics (and of course story). I can't speak for the Mafia 2 so we will see what happens.

I want this game but I'll probably be limited to getting it at Wal-Mart (no cash, but have plastic there that isn't maxed). Not a problem, so much, but I want the Collector's Edition and the site doesn't have it listed, but they have the regular version listed. Hopefully, they will get it...

Damn you platform exclusives. Whenever there is a console exclusive I make sure I buy it (if I buy it) when it has already been out for a while and dropped down in price. No point paying full-price for something you're not getting (and supporting such business tactics).

OH MY GOD F*CK THESE EXCLUSIVE DLCs!

They piss me off ... I f*cking hate it when they do this.

I don't mind TIMED exclusive DLC, but to offer a free exclusive to one console is ridiculous, why would they want to hurt their biggest demographic?

I'm not going to start a PS3 vs 360 debate, but games like Mafia 2 move more units on the 360 because the large majority of 360 games are into shooters and action games such as this one ... so why give us the short end of the stick?

I got particularly pissed off when I bought Dante's Inferno on the 360 and found out that PS3 owners got Trials of St. Lucia for free ALONG with the game's soundtrack and some other sh*t ... man f*ck this generation of consoles its fu*king bull$hit

@BoBsS you now understand what the ps3 owners had to go through. well, they're still going thru it since treyarch is making black ops' DLC delayed for the PC and PS3 for 1(or 2, i forgot) years.

@BoBsS Maybe if Microsoft doesn't make publisher charge for their DLC, you'll see more free stuff.

So if devs have extra stuff they want to take on for free but has to charge 360 owners because of Microsoft, they shouldn't have to hold back on the other back on PS3 owners and make them pay for Microsoft's choices.

So as far as I see it, don't blame the publishers/devs, blame Microsoft and their policies.
