I hope it has better hinges than the DS lite. Nintendo said that cracked hinges were not that big of a problem, but my top lid became really loose after a while and i was out of warranty.

I'm sure the hinge will be better. The lite's hinge was hugely flawed and was prone to breaking, but Nintendo seems to have learned from it. The DSi and the DSi Fatty are both a lot more sturdy and solid than the lite.

From a New Zealand consumer perspective, no one gives a frak about Tag Mode. My only way to play with strangers is via the internet. Here, we have 15 minute drives max in most cities outside of Auckland, and so no one ever bothers to bring their DS with them outside their house or hotel room. So when am I going to meet anyone to share data with?!
