Square Enix announced today that the release date has been bumped up a week, to August 17 in North America and August 20 in PAL territories. This works out in fans' favor, obviously, by letting them buy the game early -- but it also happens to move the game away from Mafia 2's release date.
HITTING RETAIL ONE WEEK EARLY
COPENHAGEN (July 13, 2010) - IO Interactive, a part of Square Enix® Europe, is pleased to confirm that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days™ has gone gold and will now release one week earlier than previously scheduled on August 17, 2010 in North America and August 20 throughout Europe and other PAL territories*, on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC.
