At least you can pump it up to 36gb without paying MS accessories prices? Though two 16gb flash drives still aren't cheap, really.

Umm, this is the arcade replacement, which had 512mb folks..

this has 4gb built in... definitely an upgrade..

if you want the hard drive, buy it seperately..

When I first read this, I was like "4 GB!?!? WTF!!!" But then I remembered that the original arcade came with 512 MB so this is actually better. Chances are that it won't have built in wifi though. It has to have some draw back

@Prboi

this will not have wifi. the wifi uses a standard USB port, but inside the unit. that same USB port will be used by a 4GB flash drive, built in.

I wanted one with a 60gb hard drive or something at least higher than the original 20gb model. My Xbox 360 Original is filled up with arcade games and save files. I would like to upgrade to the new model, but I think 250gb is overkill. I don't want to purchase a JUST a hard drive for fear of RROD. So, this wasn't what I was hoping for. 4gb is too low. And 250gb seems too high. Price gouging on hard drives is not cool.

buy a 60GB xbox360 hard drive off ebay. take it apart and stick it in this. you'll be seeing this happen when this thing comes out.

@Xplicit

Consider that 4.5 years ago an Xbox with zero memory and zero harddrive cost $300.

Too bad you cant use your old harddive with the new xbox though :(.

Why not just cut the "elite" $50, and not bother with the "arcade". :/

4GB is just enough for the preinstalled system files required for the 360 HDD. The harddrive itself would only have 256MB like before. Just like my 20GB HDD that only had 13GB.

@Lerkero

Thats not entirely true. The loss of of so much data on the hard drive was due to the emulator for the Xbox original. If you think about, NXE is capable of running on the earliest of sytems even when the hard drive is removed. Those machines had 64MB of non-usable flash storage.

As a Jasper Arcade owner I can tell you that you get about 450MB of free space after the NXE installation and its reservation memory are used up. Id be surprised if there was anything less that 3.5GB on these new arcades
