DJ Hero 2's 108 mashed-up artists revealed

If your curiosity was piqued by last month's partial list of musicians whose work would appear in some conjoined fashion in the DJ Hero 2 soundtrack, then you're about to be extremely satisfied. Posted after the jump is the full list of all 108 artists who will have their work featured in the upcoming follow-up to FreeStyleGames' mix-mastering simulator.

You know what? In the interest of simplicity, we think it might be best to just point out who's not in the game. Let's see ... well, Steely Dan's nowhere to be seen in the list. And any contributions from Fleetwood Mac are still unaccounted for. Also, where's Snow? We can't -- wait, Snow is in there? Well, then, pinch us, because we're clearly dreaming.

Looks good. I just hope there's a lot more variety in the mixes. The first game had some good artists, but seemed like they went overboard mixing Disturbia and Hollaback Girl with everything.

Unfortunately, just like Guitar Hero there's a few on there that make me want to avoid the game at all costs. We'll see what happens.

Who do you think Dillinja is? Johnny Depp? Granted, there. Is no High Contrast.

What I really wanted to see was some hard dance artists like Tidy Boys or Alex Kidd.

@xbit I was disappointed at not many DnB artists too. I hoped that Danny Byrd might make an appearance seeing his new album is out later this year. But Rage187 is right, Dillinja is a DnB artist. So are the Prodigy.

Not trying to quibble but "The Prodigy" is not a drum and bass group at all. They might have a few songs out of all their albums that is dnb'ish and that is a stretch.

How crazy would it to have smack my bitch up, but that probably won't be the case. Maybe FireStarter or Invaders must die. I hope it's not the old stuff, though.

the techno artists for this game are awesome (chemical brothers, prodigy, justice and mstrkrft)

I would love to see a megamix or something with every song in the game, something like Girl Talk. I mean 2 songs mixed is cool but think about 4 or 5 mixes in one song!
