Namco Bandai surveying for future PSOne Classics releases

Following the lead of techno-savvy game companies like Square Enix, Namco Bandai recently Tweeted a query to its fans and followers, asking which of its classic games people would want to see on the PSOne Classics storefront. You can let your voice be heard by sending your 140-character suggestion to @nbgi_webmaster.

Now, we know most of you are going to start dropping the titles of your favorite Namco titles, ala Tekken or Tales of Destiny. However, don't sleep on Bandai's PSOne offerings -- a list which includes hits like Digimon World, Digimon World 2, Digimon World 3 and Digimon Rumble Arena.

I hope they release Tales of Destiny 1 & 2

I have Digimon World 3. Part of it is awesome, I wonder if it's good enough to go back and finish it. Or get anywhere in it, really.

@Acosta02 :: I guess I'm not the only one that remembers Digimon on PSX. God that game was surprisingly good. I had Digimon World, it was an imported Japanese version (or from some other country I don't live in and had English language support). The poo monster sadly was my monster for most of the game.

@Acosta02 Yes! I remember Digimon World, it had surprisingly good gameplay, as far as I remember. I was just a kid back then, but I would be tempted to try it again now, maybe the game makes more sense, when I know what I'm doing.

It would be a delight for some Tales on the PSN.

They should add Propcycle, I know it's technically not a PSX game, but I can't find it in arcades anywhere anymore and I'd like to be able to play it again.

Digimon World series was so annoying, you'd get the best possible - then in like two seconds, you die.. and you revert to a rookie. >

You can also play all PS1 titles on the PS2, and the PS3. So... the PSP was late too. :o

Not to mention Tales of Innocence, Tales of the Tempest and Tales of Hearts on Nintendo DS, Tales of Graces on the Wii, and Tales of Rebirth, Tales of VS. and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 on PSP.

Don't forget Talespin, Duck Tales, Dragon Tales, Tales from the Crypt, and Miles "Tails" Prower...

I'm hoping that we get PS2 titles on the PSN store. I think that would sell well both console and their libraries of PS2 games.

I suppose it's too cliché to say Ridge Racer, but I want Type 4 out. I have the PSOne disc but I want to play it on my PSP too.

All Tales of games that were never released in the US or Europe.

Why not just offer all of them for a month and then trim the low sellers?

I liked all the digimon games on PS. hell even card battle had its moments!

I never remembered the PSOne being such an asshole.

If they could release the old Guncon games to be compatible with the Guncon3, I think folks would be happy.

I guess that's not in the cards, so if it was Move compatible, then.

I sold my Guincon3 and Time Crisis 4 ... for quite a bit of money, as soon as I found out Namco wasn't going to support their product beyond the single (terrible) game. It sold fast for whatever reason.

Namco isn't the company that needs to be prodded. It's Capcom. They're sitting on Street Fighter Alpha 3 and it's killing me!

Er, you do realize that Street Fighter Alpha 3 has already been released on the PSP. In UMD format even.

Forget PS1 classics, bring back Power Rangers haha

Man, am I the only one who wants Bandai to release Gundam Battle Assault 2?? I freaking loved that game, but can't find it anywhere anymore... I want it so bad :P
