There's about a 9 month gap between the Japanese and American releases of Pokemon, and they never came with an erotica comic.

WTF?!

Ubisoft said they have no interest in bringing the port over. Suda 51 has nothing to do with the port, so unless some publisher comes out from nowhere wanting to release it here it isn't going to happen. Import the PS3 version since there's no region protection, or just get the damn wii version because it's still the best version of the game.

I know this'll make me sound like an achievement whore, but I'd want NMH on 360 for the achievements, but the controller may be a benefiting factor as well. If I want to replay NMH without achievements, I'll play it on Wii, because PS3 trophies are, simply put, pathetic.

And here come the down-votes.

@(Unverified) If you have already played NMH on the Wii, don't bother importing the Xbox version. It's a good game but the load times are horrible. Even with the game installed on the hard drive you are routinely waiting a minute or so for anything to load. I think I spent more time waiting for load times than actually playing the game.

Plus I personally don't think HD brings much to a game like NMH.
Suda meant for it to be rough around the edges (pun intended).

Actually, it isn't. They dubbed it into Japanese for the 360/PS3 version. The Wii version had English voices even in the Japanese release.

Suda's games are primarily aimed at a Western market, and have been ever since Killer7 and No More Heroes became cult hits here but were completely ignored in Japan.

Also, tons of Japanese games are released in Western territories before Japan, albeit usually with smaller gaps: Metroid, Castlevania, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and other series more popular in the West than in Japan have all received similar treatment.

I hope they get the load time issues sorted out. I'm not sure about the PS3 version but the Xbox version had the worst load times I've ever experienced on the 360. We are talking PS1 era final fantasy load times here. Everything takes like a minute of waiting to load, which is especially painful when you retry a failed mission because you have to wait twice.

It wont. Suda had nothing to do with it and is opposed to the game being PS3/360. Ubi has refused to port them without Suda's blessing and has stated they will keep it Wii only. The reason these are getting releases in Jap'n is because the publisher wanted to make more (some) money off the game. Different publishers in different regions lead to different things.

Ubisoft has refused 'without Suda's blessing'? Seriously? Why would they give a shit about that? They're a business, not a fan club.

Maybe they refused because (a) the ports are ropey (sounds like) or (b) they think it would sell about seventeen copies (also sounds like). I really doubt it was because of anything Suda said.

I don't know what Ubisoft's official stance is, but they have shown no interest in bringing over these versions here. There are issues with these ports, particularly load times (as others have mentioned). And, they sold just as poorly as the Wii version did in Japan.

And, frankly, I think it looks worse than the Wii version. Higher resolution, higher polycounts, blah blah blah.... whatever, the shading looks really weird and ugly if you ask me. Style matters more than raw power.
