LittleBigPlanet gets more Marvel heroes, bananas

Both iterations of LittleBigPlanet recently had their future DLC plans outlined, and ... well, we're sensing a bit of inequality. Next Tuesday, PS3 players get Marvel Character Pack #2, which includes Elektra, Human Torch, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man and Thor. Meanwhile, PSP players get ... a banana.

June 20

LittleBigPlanet (PS3) -- Marvel Character Pack #2 -- includes Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Electra, Human Torch and Thor costumes ($4.99)
LittleBigPlanet (PSP) -- Banana costume (free)
LittleBigPlanet (PSP) -- Fruit Salad Level Pack -- includes Apple, Strawberry, Banana and Pineapple costumes ($2.99)

Ugh! Why can't the Marvel pack becoming to the PSP!?

Better yet, why aren't all of the DLC costume packs compatible between the two versions of the game (PS3 and PSP)? Aren't they just XML data and image textures?

I bought LBP PSP today. I'm gonna get Spidey for PS3 but maybe not right away cause I'm not playing LBP and haven't for a while. Maybe when 2 comes out.

Jut bought LBP GOTY Edition at Best Buy a few days ago will probably get this next week.

Wish I had the PSP version. The banana looks a lot better. Don't know any of those heroes except the 2 movie ones. Oh and torchy. Maybe I'll get both.

Aside from Thor (Who's getting a movie soon) all 4 of the other characters have a movie. Elektra was in Daredevil, and then in her own movie. Ghost Rider in his own movie, Human Torch in 2 Fantastic Four films, and Spider-Man in 3 movies with a 4th one coming soon. And this is without counting the lower budget attempts of bringing these heroes to the big screen.
