Red Dead Redemption's 'Legends and Killers' screens revealed
25
One of the upcoming DLC packs for Red Dead Redemption -- henceforth referred to as "the one without the zombies" -- has been captured in screenshots. Titled "Legends and Killers," the pack includes nine multiplayer maps, eight playable characters from the original Red Dead Revolver, a tomahawk projectile weapon, and new Trophies and Achievements, which you presumably unlock by implementing the tomahawk in an unorthodox manner. Like, for spreading mustard on a delicious ham sandwich.
The "Legends and Killers" pack will land on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store next month for 800 MSP ($9.99). Check out a few screenshots of the new content in the gallery posted below.

I love this game but I am not mad on the multiplayer aspect, atleast not the gang matches ect.
This will be a 50/50 for me.

It's worth keeping in mind that Lost & Damned came out close to a year post GTA4 launch & Ballad 8 months after that. That type of DLC is not going to be coming out this quick at all, but I would be willing to bet Rockstar is working on them.
What they are doing here in the short term is good, in my eyes, because they are addressing the Multiplayer which is VERY lacking right now.

It seems there's new DLC every week for this, and people complain about Activision flooding the market with overpriced DLC....

No, I don't care, I'm just stating how biased people are against Activision. There are supposedly four DLC packs coming out, one a month, it just seems excessive.

here is the difference:
* Nine new multiplayer map locations
* Eight new multiplayer characters, including some from Red Dead Revolver
* New projectile weapon, The Tomahawk, with corresponding multiplayer and single-player challenges
* New Achievements and Trophies
You get all of that for the 10 Bucks. Of course its a rip off, dlc should be free if it doesn't actually extend the story...But even for the price it's still better then Activision.
What did you get from activision for $15 bucks? 2 rehashed maps and 3 new ones...no new weapons, skins, etc. rip off!

RED IS BEAUTIFUL IN HD.
I was expecting Jack Swift, Buffalo Soldier and that girl who I can't remember right now. But good enough! Still buying these day one.

Whoops. It appears that the girl I was referring to is standing behind Red.

I LOVE this game. Multiplayer is really fun. I am especially fond of the co-op missions. I hope they make more of those. Have a good weekend Joystiqers!

I really enjoy the multiplayer with my friends, mainly just in private matches on our own. So, I'm not sure about this. A lot more interested in the Liars and Cheats pack. Multiplayer poker, OH YES! :D

Doesn't sound like they're adding any more co-op. No sale for me then.

Griffin, buddy, can we get some equal rights in the price tag displaying? I think in this day and age saying 800MSP and then in quotes ($9.99) is a bit faux pas. Its clearly favoring one system over another, PS3 being the lesser, unimportant of the two because of the quotations.

It's too bad you can't use these characters in single player instead of the shitty guy you're stuck with at the game's end. Getting stuck with him really pissed me off.

Sorry, $10 is too much for essentially a multiplayer booster pack.
If my friends are still playing it when the price gets a sale price of 400 points, I'll jump on board - but likely we'll be knee deep in the new COD, Medal of Honor and Halo: Reach by then, so this DLC might never find a home on my console.
