Really loved the game. Bring it back as a retail release or live title if need be. I would bay $5 a month to play as long as I could use points and not require a subscription. They would also need to have more conducive show times for a guy as busy as I am.

Cashman was a great pick for host as well. He never seemed phony or obnoxious. Best of luck to him!

Paying monthly for this is a terrible idea.

@whylekat a soulution would be to pay like, 400 ms points for it every season, or maybe even a one time fee of 800-1200 for ever season ever. That way it is still profitable.

@The Wicker Man I just loved playing it and I am now trying to rationalize any way to bring it back. :( To be fair, when people like me make comments like that ^ companies get the wrong idea. I apologize to all my fellow gamers...I was upset about losing a fun game and ran my mouth! ;)

My wife and I would play this sometimes and it was always a good bit of fun. I'm sad to see it go as it seemed to offer a lot of promise.

Sucks this got cancelled.... My and my friends would all get on and play several times a week.... None of us ever even got to be the one or in the 100, but it was still just a blast to hang out and play.... I'm gonna miss it.

Season 3... Took longer than I expected. Not trying to flame or anything just what happen to the old school gaming? 1 vs 100 a little too much for the casual gamers and mainstream don't ya think?

I don't quite understand your comment... How is it too much for casual audiences? I'm tired of people acting like casual gamers are mentally challenged or something

I love the idea of "live" video games with a host and everything. Maybe they could do this with Madden or something, that'd be cool, even though I don't play Madden.

There is always the hope that they'll reconsider once they see how many casual gamers are dropping their Gold subscription.

This really pisses me off. Microsoft needs to let people take any game off of their profile. I have a couple of achievements and now I can't get the rest of them or get rid of them. They should have one more season without a host or prizes so that people can try to get all 12. I never really liked playing because the prize system never made sense and there were too many questions about damn theater. .

As a non-360 owner I never got a chance to play this, was it even available in the UK?

Anyways it looked really fun and I can see it will be missed.

Yeah the sentencing was a bit off what I was trying to say is im disliking the whole mainstream aspect of gaming and it's all pushed out for the casual gamers. Little by little these the creators start to understand that casual gaming dies out quicker than it started. What happen to the days when game creators put "love" into their games? I work inside the gaming industry and yes it does upset me that people made a huge deal about non sense like 1 vs 100 being canceled, that is why my comment of it staying around longer than what I expected. Sorry im not trying to offend anyone it's just that I've played games since the earlier 80s and I hate how 30 years later they are turning away from what got them to where they are now.

I really wish I played more of this game. During the time I did play it though, I had so much fun. A true pity it's not coming back. I was loving it.

But it's like they said in the podcast, the times were kind of weird...

I played this all the time during season 3. I have to say this is the only game that got my family and I all playing together at once. No other game has ever done that and I don't think Microsoft ever will get that again from us. My mom kept asking me about the third season and I had to break it to her and it came as a big shock. Now I have to look for other games that are good for the family.

Oh man, you know how you pick up a new TV show in the fall, get all invested in it, then sit there in suspense as the network teeters back and forth about whether or not they should cancel it, before finally they do, and you're all annoyed that you can't watch the show anymore?

Now this heartbreak has made its way into videogames.

Kinda sad. I'm gonna miss this game. And for some reason, I think of Sprint every time I see this game. Was that the only advertiser or the only one I remember? Maybe they couldn't find another sponsor.

They'll bring it back in some big comeback a couple years down the road. It was too popular to just let it go like that.

That or it'll be replaced by some other project that'll be released to much fanfare.

That's how it goes.

But I'm in agreement with Tiki. I played it. It was fun enough... But I really wish the game industry would get back on track. ESPECIALLY Nintendo and their weak-ass little machine that we know as "Wii". (I still can't get over the name...)

Nintendo could actually have TWO different markets on their hands...if they wanted. But they've betrayed the hard core gamers for the sake of the masses of core gamers.

I dunno. Whatever. I'm not all broken up about this.

what? they weren't trying to compete with primetime television. some people don't watch any television shows at that time. they are on their xbox instead. this just gives them something more to do on their xbox rather than play retail or arcade games.

I will truly miss 1vs100. I never got to play in anything other than the crowd, but I did win one of the best games on XBLA from last summer. I won Shadow Complex and actually got to talk live on the game. It was so awesome! Thanks to Chris and everyone who worked on the game. It was a lot of fun!

I only played a handful of times, but it was pretty fun. I think it would've been better and more successful with a different show. 1vs100 isn't super thrilling, conceptually.

I can't express how disappointed I am with Microsoft's decision to cancel 1 vs. 100. It was the game that convinced me Microsoft had actually achieved it's goal of bringing the whole family to Xbox and Xbox Live.

I had all 4 of my family members gathered on my couch playing together. I think it was some of the most fun we ever had together. We never won any prizes, but even my sister signed up for a gold account so she could try. My parents were consantly asking when the next season started so they could come over and join me.

I don't know what it will take, hell, i'll even pay perr season, but if it get's that family experience back, it'll be worth every penny. Don't let this die, Microsoft.
