Whoa there, that's something juicy. Not like I need it, got my 360, but this is a perfect opportunity for people looking for some goodtimes with a great console.

@Shadowbender Alright, that sounded a bit PR, haha.

That's actually a pretty sweet deal.

You know, talking about RRoD and board models (i.e. Jasper) seems like ages ago. Weird.

I got one of these back when my previous Xbox red-ringed. At the time it was practically worth it for the hard drive alone. It's a nice package.

Speaking of the faceplate, I wonder what they are going to do for customization of the new smaller Xbox. Does the new one even have a removable faceplate?

Eh, the $150 Arcade model at some places is far more tempting if I wanted to pick up a second console.

Sad thing is that I've wanted to add a second console for awhile (backup, plus being able to play some co-op games that allow online/system link only). But now I want the new sexy, and not the old-busted.

@Courtney To each their own, but to me, it looks like Don Mattrick got so angry one day that it came to the point where he took a knife, violently cut a bunch of slits into the side of an Elite, cut himself while doing the act, making him fumble and drop the Elite in his hand, to which it hit the ground twice, which deformed the angles of the console, making Don Mattrick resort to the dark side, at which point he used force pull which pulled out the LED ring, which made him feel so powerful to the point he ignited his lightsaber and cut the top off of the Elite, making it shorter. The design team did the rest.

But that's just me, and only one theory as to how on Earth that design made it's way to store shelves.

It's such a crap port, though, nevermind the actual game's various flaws. :(

This game bored me to tears. Sold my copy on eBay for $25 just three days after purchase.

Lol, that isn't the normal Amazon DOTD, and very recently they were selling the bundle and faceplate for $250; stick to posting deals from CAG I suppose.

Don't know why unverifired got downvoted... it really is an awful piece of crap excuse for a game.
