Did you feel pissed off if/when you paid $40 for StarCraft and $30 for Brood War?

As much as I hate Kotick, people need to get the HELL off the "split the game up" crap. You are getting a full game, and TWO EXPANSIONS.

StarCraft and Brood War together were about 60 missions. StarCraft 2 alone is 30 alone. And each expansion will be 30. Instead of getting 30 missions for each race together, you are getting 30 for each.

They never said the expansions will be full priced. Blizzard said themselves that the expansions will be priced as expansions.

So, what do you think of Ubisoft's DRM system, Brockobama? If you're going to take the moral high ground and boycott Activision, you should probably re-examine some of the business practices of the company you're touting as the lesser evil.

And if it doesn't bother you, then don't be surprised when other people are willing to still buy Starcraft 2 - otherwise you're getting into "pot calling the kettle black" territory.

No one said it was three separate games, Blizzard themselves said it was one game and two expansions.

You are getting the same amount of missions in the first game that the original StarCraft had. Then, you are getting 30 more for the first expansion, and 30 more for the next.

At this point in time they are barely started on the Zerg expansion. So it comes down to if you want StarCraft 2 12 years after the original, or 17 years after the original. And as someone said below, you don't want to buy it, but you support Ubisoft and their draconian DRM that restricts how you play a game completely?

I think every sensible person on Joystiq knows that it's definitely best to avoid Activision as best we can. Problem is, there are still millions of buffoons out there that know nothing about this industry and will gladly throw dollar upon dollar at those crooks. That right there, my friends is the problem at hand.

@Brockobama123 Totally agree with you. I'll never by into the crap, and it's pleasant knowing I'm not one of those idiotic millions of people that stupidly support the thieves.

@den69 I thought the exact same thing when I first started playing. Then I stumbled upon this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_yWnSaDPa4 on how to play the game and now I enjoy it a lot! Watch that video and give it a chance, if you like strategic rts games, you wont regret it.

First of all this game was terrible. Secondly, Ubisofts DRM is way worse than anything Blizzard is doing.
