Medal of Honor beta extended to July 31, Xbox version still offline

Curious as to why you're still able to hop onto the online battlefields of Medal of Honor, when the beta was scheduled to end last Sunday? The game's official blog recently updated with the announcement that the multiplayer beta test had been extended to July 31 for the PS3 and PC versions of the game.
This extension could possibly be due to the ever-lengthening delay of the 360 version of the beta test, which the blog post also referenced, stating, "we are continuing to work with Microsoft on the Xbox 360 beta and are dedicated to delivering it as soon as possible." We suggest trying to get it in before October 12, at which point a beta test would be fairly redundant.

@Special Agent Bob Dude it's nothing like MW2. It's just a rehashed of BC2 Multiplayer. The PC beta has a ton of bugs that they never even bothered to fix. Such as remapping keys not remapping and crashing the game, toggled crouch not working, turning off toggled crouch so then you're not even able to crouch at all and Super sensitive movement if you try to use a controller. So at this point I believe it's a waste.

Didn't play BF:BC 2 beta... most of those things were like that in beta as well. The most frustrating is the mouse sensitivity defaulting every time even though it shows where it should be.

They could be focusing on Mirrors Edge 2 right now. Oh, how I really, really desire to have that game.

Meh. I honestly don't know who in their right mind would buy this instead of all the other options this holiday (Fallout: New Vegas, Fable 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Halo: Reach, etc.).

I'll pick this up day one but I'm more excited to see what EA does with the single player than what Dice does with the MP.

I honestly think that MS is holding this as part of the exclusive DLC deal with black ops to get people to buy black ops for activision

I'm sorry but the beta put me off quite badly.
I did not enjoy the 2 hours I spent playing it, the shooting is too stiff, the movement is poor, I hate hearing the same stupid song every time I died.
A very lousy and crap beta, glad I got in through Steam for having BC2 because I was at one point considering a pre-order just for the beta.
It feels more like an alpha rather than a beta build.

Why so much hate?
I didn't have many problems with the game... The only gripes I really had were with the menus and not being able to exit the game when a round ends.
The long range battles got a little annoying when I started dying lots but it wasn't too bad, just changed the class and the problem was solved!
The levels alone make me like this game way more enjoyable than MW2 for me. having an actual "world" instead of a square battle arena made all the difference for me.

Oh and it stinks even worse considering all the issues with the game.
Atrocious hit detection
Stiff movement (Hey DICE Let me use my "a" and "d" keys when sprinting!)
Horrible UI for everything especially the main menu and server list.
NO PRONE
Unlimited sprint + intanta kill melee (what happened to the days of CS style knifing?)
More to boot but these are my main issues.

I actually had a great time with the game. While it's certainly not original, the gameplay mechanics were very solid and the maps were well designed. But I think one of the best features that no game I've seen had, are games with players of the same skill ranking. It makes it easy for newcomers to jump in and pros to have fun, that's a really under appreciated feature.

it honestly seems they are not even trying to get this beta out at all for the 360. Pretty much it's like they're saying "Oh you want the beta do ya? You really want to play it? Well screw you, you're not getting it. Play our broken PS3/PC beta. No beta for you 360 people."

I have yet to play Medal of Honor but from what I've seen, it looks a lot like Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Medal of Honor seems rushed to me.

I barely ever even get on this beta. Shooters are pretty blah, overall, to me. Some can be fun for a moment, though, but they end up getting shelved pretty quickly after the single player campaign is over and online isn't something I can't really get into, although I've tried many a time. It just never takes with me. Someone can have my beta. Lol.
