I was such a hater on the new Doctor. Man, was I wrong! Never have I enjoyed the show like I have this season.

That alone might be enough to check these out, even though they look pretty 'meh'.

But, then again, they cost me all of zero dollars.

@Jerk Face

Or $5? I could have sworn these were free to play. Hmm.. Maybe that was in the UK?

@Jerk Face Free in the UK since you pay that stupid "Licence Fee". God, am I glad FTA TV has no fee here in the US.

@Jerk Face I had never seen the show. I stumbled across it on BBCA and have began watching ever since. I torrented the UK episodes as I heard the episodes that air here in the US are edited, and we get them like 2-3 weeks delayed.

These games seem cool, but as a Linux user I'd have to jump through hoops to get D2D to run. Plus don't they have some draconian DRM? I have better chances waiting for Steam on Linux and hope this gets released there.

@pibs

Or you can, you know, just download the free version. Region locking on the internets never seemed right to me. ;)

@Jerk Face

Only free in the UK. And technically speaking, they aren't free there because people already paid for them via their Television License Fees.

Awful, awful pun. But then again, I probably would have made the same one, so good show.

No Tom Baker = no interest for this game, whatsoever.

Ah, that game. I played the first episode while I was in London, but I was out of the country by the time Episode 2 was released. Gotta say, $5 is about the right price for it. The whole thing kind of is poorly designed, but for fans it has some redeeming qualities, I suppose. Still, if you decide to miss out, know that you're not missing too much.

Why did it have to be Daleks and Cybermen? It's bad enough that those villains get run into the ground in the t.v. show, give some of the other, cooler antagonists a go.

@gallyko
It's nothing but pure fan service with no redeeming gameplay qualities.
Fans want Daleks and Cybermen. And Weeping Angels are cool too.

@QuePasa87 Matt Smith did a very good job making the Doctor his own this season. there's room in the DW universe for love of more then one doctor.

agreed with above, Matt was a great Doctor in my opinion. I don't know whether the series finale has been aired in America, but if it hasn't you're in for one hell of a two parter

I emailed Direct2Drive to ask about the Mac version.

First they denied that a Mac version even existed. Then when I sent them a BBC Press Release that mentioned the Mac version, they told me they had no plans to release it.

So I guess Mac Users are supposed to do illegal downloads then...

Matt Smith may be the best Doctor ever, yes even better then Baker. I love Tennant as well but Matt really owned that role this year. I too thought it was a mistake to make him the doctor but seriously the dude hit the ball out of the park.

Also for 4 bucks I decided to support the show and bought the game. I love Amy Pond and now I can control her to get naked for me.
