Halo: Reach, Dragon Age Avatar gear now available
17
As promised, new Halo: Reach and Dragon Age: Origins goodies are now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. The Reach items include a handful of T-shirts, a hat and Noble Team armor. The Dragon Age offering is somewhat more robust, including hats, shirts, various character outfits and armor, helmets and even a couple of props (including a nice goblet for your digital krunk needs). Strangely absent from the Dragon Age set: A Brood Mother Avatar pet.

Stuff like this is awesome when it's an award from a game. I can't bring myself to buy virtual clothes no matter how cool it is.

Am I the only one who finds it absolutely ridiculous that they're selling Noble 6's armor but you'll literally NEVER be able to obtain the helmet unless you go to one of a very few select conventions? Honestly... I don't mind exclusive DLC in singleplayer campaigns(I mean, who the hell will ever envy you for it) but exclusive DLC that matches something that anyone can get? That just rubs me the wrong way. I wouldn't bother buying Reach gear anyway, I already have the hoodie and can get the awards if I want(as well as the exclusive gear that comes with my legendary edition) but this still just bugs me...

Okay, so they give everybody the helmet for Noble 6, then they decide to make a really neat limited exclusive helmet for Noble 7, do you have to have that too?

That Halo Reach t-shirt looks like the result of many meetings and several highly paid artists to come up with that brilliant design.
