The Force Unleashed 2 dev diary certainly does unleash the force
33
We knew the Sithdi (Jedith?) known as Starkiller had some serious Force-wielding prowess in the series' first installment, but if the dev diary for The Force Unleashed 2 posted below is any indication, we haven't really seen anything yet. Force Push is great -- but Force Disintegrate is better.

@joeymoto,
This "Dev Diary" SUCKED.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was the WORST Star Wars game I've ever played. Horrible design. Gameplay sucked. Animations were below average.
If TFU2 isn't any better, I'm DONE with buying Star Wars games.
btw: LucasArts, get rid of that tacky yellow side label you include on all of your games. It makes the excitement of playing a Star Wars game degrade quickly.

level 10? no wonder I didn't feel all that 'unleashed'.. my Fable 1 character could send everybody flying.. Starkiller would make people fall over in comparison.. though he's actually looking Unleashed in this video, gotta wonder how they've done the bosses, because they were really steep in the first game

I've been wondering the same thing. In one of the trailers, I think it showed Vader looking at a bunch of Starkiller clones. I think part of the story of TFU 2 is to determine whether or not you're a clone of Starkiller, or the original Starkiller. Or something.
Basically, they painted themselves into a corner with the ending(s) of the first game, and somehow had to "fix" it. I almost wonder why they didn't just continue with the "evil" ending as they did with the DLC - that way they wouldn't have to worry about keeping in line with the movies, since everything has changed.

@Clinton O
In the Expanded Universe there have been clones of Jedi who are fully capable of using the Force. Namely in Timothy Zahn's trilogy.

I really enjoyed the first game. Anyone care to tell me which ending from the first game leads into the second ? I am still confused as to what the continuity of this thing is.

Dismembering confirmed!!!!

They confirm it in the vid, but you'll see some arms come off and a few heads as well. It looks like they didnt over do it with the dismembering, which I think is a good thing.

Yeah but will us Jedi Knight fans finally get some chaotic multiplayer or is still strictly a singleplayer experience not long enough to warrant a purchase? The game and engine just beg to be played with, but Lucas Arts feels the need to exude douche-baggery.

Well they did fire the dev team who made the first game after it came out, so maybe it's in LucasArts' nature.

******* TFU Spoilers *******
At the end of TFU you didn't really see Starkiller die. The Emperor just says, "Well he is dead". Tells Vader that he has to find and kill all the rebels and walks away.
Earlier in the game Vader impales Starkiller through the chest, force throws him around the room, and then hurls his body into space leaving him there for quite some time. I don't think a little force absorb explosion could have killed him.
Vader could have easily taken Starkiller somewhere and revived him. Of course the Emperor may have known Vader would do this since he really wants Starkiller to be his new apprentice since Vader is really worthless to the Emperor.
*****
Maybe at the end of TFU2 we find out that the Emperor mind tricked Padme and had an affair with her so the Emperor is really Luke's father.
