StarCraft 2 action figures shown off at Comic-Con

Blizzard's line-up of action figures based on its handful of lucrative franchises will soon expand to include the burly, frontline soldiers of StarCraft 2. The DC Unlimited-manufactured miniatures were prominently displayed at the company's Comic-Con booth, which the toy trade site Figures.com captured through the magic of digital photography.

The first set of action figures include a Terran Space Marine, the Protoss heavyweight Zeratul and returning StarCraft protagonist Jim Raynor. If you're hoping to recreate the strategic action of the series on your bedroom nightstand, you might want to check out Figures' detailed images of these three toys, which are set to hit store shelves in spring 2011.

Well, you know Raynor's been working out those forearms a lot ever since Kerrigan became the Queen of Blades ;)

How about a Ultralisk plush toy. Better yet, how about a plush infestor.

In retrospect and kidding aside, something might actually sell well if it were offered. I am rather disturbed at my own creation.

Isn't the Zerg storyline coming out later ? It's just the marine one now , you'll have to pay another 60 bucks or more each to play the other 2 races storylines later . I imagine the toys will follow suit .

I'm honestly sick of people just throwing out 60 bucks randomly. Heart of the Swarm (Zerg single player expansion) and Legacy of the Void (Protoss single player expansion) are going to be, just that, expansions. Most likely with expansion pricing. The only thing they changed in regards to the format of expansions from Brood War is making each expansion race specific rather than 10 missions for each race.

There is no reason to try and make it seem I'm overreacting to your ignorance. It's not my fault that you were oblivious to what they were doing. Anyway, the next time you "hear" something make sure it's from a credible source. The only people who have been saying the expansions are 60 bucks are trolls and the people who believe them for whatever reason.

@Deschain Same here with the posting . I haven't really been following the game that much , my laptop has no where near the requirements to play it . The only info I've read on it has come from game informer online , which I'm finding out lately is just full of idiots who rip their stories off from everyone else . So much as I'd like to be playing this , I'm gonna have to wait till Diablo 3 comes out , at least by then I will have gotten a better pc . No way I'm missing that game .

For sure. I'm a bigger Diablo fan than I am a StarCraft fan actually. Can't wait for that one.

@Deschain Yup , I spent 1,000's of hours on D2 when it first came out , and recently downloaded the patch to be able to play it on my laptop . It is still just as addicting as it ever was .

I rolled a new character when the patch came out also. I ended up playing single player though so i could play at 1680 x 1050 (my monitors native rez) rather than the stretched crap they patched in.

@Deschain Yea same here , I tried a sorceress . I originally played as a necromancer and a warrior .
