@Acosta02 What you meant to say was, "That's what I expected," or, "Yeah, that makes sense!"

Considering how much Ken there is, it could easily be a picture of SSFIV online.

I just google image'd this:

"Street Fighter 3: 3rd strike"

Imagine what picture was at the front page? Joystiq fail?

They corrected it. Don't worry, I witnessed their mistake too. I check this website too frequently so earlier I was able to see the screenshot of 2nd Impact instead of 3rd Strike.

I think Street fighter fans love Capcoms current model....seems like a SF re-release comes out every year as well as a full title....

I don't play as Ken or Ryu, what happens when you guys fight each other?
Who wins when you both spam shoryukens at each other?

In hindsight, that'll be Ken. Probably why he's the most popular of the two.

Hope they do a better job with this then they did with MvC2... that game looks kinda ugly, in my opinion, all up-rez'd.

Lol Joystiq. the name of the re-release will be "online edition"
I mean you don't have to be a genious to know it will be a PSN/XBLA game.

It damn better be downloadable. Who was expecting something else? This game is over 10 years old. I can play iso's from my PSX and Dreamcast games that are that old.

@Vcize
Goldeneye and NBA Jam are not re-releases with online added. There are new assets created for those games to modernize them (mostly). I'm not saying they COULDN'T be downloadable, but from the way the developer is presenting them, they are making entirely new games.

3rd Strike would be a re-release of the original game with online play added to the infrastructure. Which means essentially Capcom would still be using the assets from a 10 year old game.

Hopefully a PC release as well , no reason not to, spec wise it shouldn't be too difficult.

But also so when the new PS3/360 comes out and the backwards compatability with old downloadable games gets pulled (or sony just don't bother because "its not a feature people want") we can still play without having to buy the game.... again... for the 3rd time!

Thinking about that actually, whats going to happen next gen to our current gen downloaded games?
