...because just about every gamer and Spore's entire community(who only sticks around to show off creations) complained about the game having no frikkin' depth whatsoever. Looks like Maxis are actually attempting to fix that and make Darkspore into something more than a glorified editor.

@No Kill Tayler - I imagine there is going to be a main storyline that you can play through using your spore creature (more customization than most RPGs) but it'll have a toolkit to build your own RPGs or missions as part of the story.
