It's always funny that the people who don't play Madden are the ones who say its the same exact game every year.

I HOPE that was a facetious reply.

However.... if not: I do play Madden. But I haven't bought one since 2005 for Gamecube and play less and less every year. You know, because nothing changes. That is fact sir.

You just made your own opinion illegitimate. But, since you'd be stuck with the gradeschool version on wii I can see why you skip it. If I had to play on wii, with move or with natal I'd also skip it.

@chex

This is the one and only time I'll stick up for Cody. The Magic are also my favorite team. We're a team that's been to the NBA and Eastern Conference finals the last two years and we just added Duhon and Q to replace Matty Barnes and white chocolate ... The rich get richer. We have the deepest and most versatile bench in basketball and rumors are still swirling we're on the cusp of acquiring Chris Paul regardless of how the meeting with Demps went yesterday. We can give them Gortat, Nelson and Carter for Paul and Okafors bloated contract. The only question mark remains max level Rashard Lewis who was a shell of his former self last year after getting popped for roids. Okafor would either replace Gortat as our backup 5 or we'd start him at the 4, move Lewis to the 3, Pietrus or Q at the 2 and Paul at the 1.

This team continues to get better with Otis Smiths moves and SVGs coaching. The heat and celtics don't scare me one bit.

Oh hey look, another Madden article and another joke about updated rosters. Ironic that the people who complain about things not being updated are the same ones that have been using the same exact joke for TEN YEARS.

Seriously though, Johnny5 is spot on here, rare as that is. I haven't followed Madden 11 that much, but Madden 10 and Madden 09 were practically completely different games. 09 was awful, one of the worst Maddens ever, whereas 10 is probably one of the best ever.

So yeah, Cody, you basically admitted to not even playing any of the games but being able to make a decision based on it. But hey, no one ever expects anything more than that out of you.

Go away.

Yup Madden 10 was damn near perfect. NCAA 11 IS basically perfect. I'm hopeful Madden 11 improves in a subtle way to 10 since it was such an accurate representation of football. That one play, single back, slot strong WR screen broke the balance for about a month until I learned how to defend it perfectly. Still, very difficult play to stop as a base formation especially when the audible to an outside handoff if you stretch your DE out wide to rush the on the flanking WR.

I don't know im going to play the madden demo again but I am actually liking NCAA 11 better because of the presentation and the announcers in the madden demo sound like they are in the booth recording the audio not as like NCAA 11 where it flows with the game. I actually like the Kane & Lynch demo(atleast the multiplayer part) still have to check out the singleplayer portion.

I'm starting to wonder if you've ever played them. Yeah, they'll add some features here and there, but mostly it's the same thing over and over and over, with very minimum updates. Although I admit, Madden 10 was a bit of something of a bigger change, but in my opinion not for the better.

Personally I buy Madden every year. The reason why I buy it every year is because I enjoy it. I'm looking forward to this years edition no matter what the haters say.

I never understood why people get all bent out of shape according to the way you choose to spend your money...

Why LOTR Conquest? Its a multiplayer focused game that you cant play online. EA turned the servers off because no one was playing. Seem kinda of pointless. Oh well.

Played Madden 11 full version....I will say there are a lot of additions to the game...the new flow system seems to work great although against the cpu it almost seems like you know what they are going to run as the flow system tells you what you can most likely expect. I have yet to play vs a human opponent yet so I'll have to see how it plays out.

The game looks more crisp and graphically polished but I guess that is to be expected. I agree with an earlier poster about the commentating....doesn't flow all that well. Second complaint...the animations....they seem to suffer from the same flow problems. Animations look choppy and sometimes it even looks like the players don't have a full grasp on the ball and it is just floating there....I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks.

@Wheeelman yea and another thing is the crowd compared to ncaa 11. In the demo its like they get shut off at kick off and soon as the ball goes off the tee it gets loud unlike in ncaa 11 where it feels like your there with the crowd screaming at you. I wish Madden would put the crowd into the game more.

@GTThaAceman Minus that stupid ass "who dat" chant when you play the saints. It lowers the crowd ambient audio just to play that chant, and it's annoying as F.

Ever since Peter Moore took over at EA Sports, the games have gotten better and better and better, and that includes Madden, as well. 3 years ago, it was "cool" to say that Madden was the same game every year, but each of the past three games have significantly improved on the past ones. From the demo, Madden 11 looks to be the best of them yet. Can't wait.

@Padilla7921

Yep, Madden 10 may be my favorite Madden ever, which is quite a leap up from the dreg we had in 07 and 08, which was just awful.

It used to be the "cool" thing to make updated roster jokes about the game. Now it seems that most competent people have caught on to the fact that the game actually does change a lot every year and we've just got a few wannabee's lagging behind still making the joke and looking around to see if people think that they're cool yet.

So is the new DLC for Alan Wake a continuation of the story after the ending, or just some other side quest thing to do during the main story?

I've already solved Alan Wake and do not want to reply it just to play another chunk of DLC if it does not add to the overall narrative in terms of what I leave the game with.

Anyone?

Feels a bit dumbed down. I'm a huge noob with the madden games which makes it seem like gameflow was made specifically for someone like me. I can never tell what the other team will do. Feels like a tutorial. That's from only one shot at the demo though. I'll try it again later.

Bring on fifa 11!
