Alan Wake for me too. I'm just gonna dive into that and shield myself from all the StarCraft business this week.

Is the SSF4 alternate costume pack really $18?
Is anyone actually going to pay that?

@(Unverified) Some will, but man, that is steep. I can buy a full fledged GAME for $20, but a bunch of costumes for SF4 are almost as much.

I'm a sucker and way too carefree about spending money on Rock Band DLC, but I just can't justify $18.

That 18 bucks is for all 8 costume packs that have already been released, which if purchased seperately would cost 2440 points, or 32 dollars. So if you don't have any, and want all of them, it's not a bad deal. It is, in fact, pretty good.

All hes saying is that its a better deal than buying the separate packs.

I probably will, but *only* because I got a 4000 point card for half-off, so I'm essentially getting them all for $9.

So is Starcraft II still being sold as all three campaigns being separate retail games?

Each campaign will be sold as a retail expansion. The launch version is Terran only with the other two being released in two separate expansions.

What do you mean by 3 separate games?

Like are you implying that what I buy in the store will not the full and complete came with the Online Multiplayer part?

The SC2 in stores is the full Terran campaign but NOT the Protoss and/or Zerg. But the MP is entirely there. So 3 separate games just give different campaigns.

From what Blizzard said, each game will be stand-alone and be able to fully play online along with that game's equivalent race campaign.

@BrookLynnsFinest

The first Starcraft shipped with three campaigns of 10 missions each, one for each race.

The second Starcraft ships with one (longer) campaign featuring the Terrans (you might be able to pay as the Zerg and/or Protoss a little, but they aren't the focus). You will be able to play all three races in multiplayer.

There are two planned expansions for Starcraft 2, one for the Zerg and the other for the Protoss.

Looking forward to the signal.

Personally I'd rather have that really awesome looking action game that the Starcraft II commercials seem to imply that their RTS game will be. That trailer was cool.

I suck at RTS games, so this one is off my radar entirely... but some of my friends will be happy.

I'll probably give the Dog Days demo a go. The first Kane & Lynch had plenty of untapped potential.

Definitely going to rip through The Signal this evening after I finish episode 6 on my 2nd play through.

I've been pretty pumped about Kane & Lynch 2, but I dunno if I'll have time as I got both Batman GOTY Edition & Singularity at a silent auction / beer tasting competition last weekend for 20 beans.

Odd random question, just bought Joe Danger, too, which is incredible but have a question about turbo? Seems like it only works half the time and when I'm hitting x nothing happens. What gives?

Your turbo fills as you do tricks. Once you've exhausted your reserve you have to do tricks to rebuild it. Wheelies are a really easy way to keep your meter full. I usually pop a wheelie as soon as a start and throughout as I land. Hope that helps.

It's weird, the turbo meter is full and no dice. Sometimes nothing happens when it's full and I hit x.

Just remember that every copy of StarCraft II you buy helps to line Kotick's pockets and fund his policies.

In the future, young children will be told of the times when man nearly destroyed the planet. When asked how it came to be, the response will be simple; they were unable to unite against the common enemy of greed.

Why do anime fans always like to point out what they like and what they have no interest in? I mean I'm not trying to make fun or anything. But it honestly seems like a universal psychological trait that anime fans just have this naturally gargantuan ego to the point that they have to state what they like and yeah, you get the point. Again, this was not at you specifically. It's something I've noticed after a lot of research.

Zombie Island and General Knoxx are both excellent, Mad Moxxie's is mainly good for the bank. But at this price I'd just pick up all 3 if I were you.
