Yeah, well at least you HAVE a local gamestop participating...

The closest one to me that is participating in this event is in another bloody state... I ain't driving for half a day just to get a map that should be released online.

@wardob I'm bringing my copy along with me to Anime Evolution in Vancouver next month. I figure that's the place where I'll be among the greatest possible concentration of Japanophile nerds like myself.

@wardob

I suppose I could bring my copy to FanExpo in Toronto next month as well, see if I can find anyone there.

Very, very select Gamestop locations. We have dozens of Gamestop stores within 225 miles of us, but we still have to drive 260 miles to get to a Gamestop store that actually has the event going on... They really should spread this out a bit more!

The local stores received the Pokemon specials, but no Dragon Quest 9 specials?

There is definitely something wrong when designers put features into their game that require people go to Gamestop to access it.

I'm not going because its a f*&#&'in stupid situation.

As someone who has never played a Dragon Quest until 9 (excluding the s[ub]lime Rocket Slime), I actually can't believe how addictive the game is and how obscenely fun the multiplayer is; if friends are available to play with, I might have to say this is the best game on the DS, period. 81 hours in just over two weeks by someone who generally doesn't even like RPGs is nothing to be scoffed at

This is ****ed up. ALL Toy's R Us's participate whenever there's a Pokemon available for download, but when there's a map for Dragon Quest 9, only 3 or 4 stores in an entire state give it out.

The nearest GameStop giving out this map is a 2 hour drive from my house. Not worth it.
