Damn it, I can't help but think "Shoulda held out and put it on 3DS" for every DS game announcement.

Especially for this type of game. FPS are just terrible on the DS. Graphics, physics, everything.

Metroid Prime Hunters, Dementium 1 & 2 say hi.

Call of Duty says something I shouldn't repeat here.

I know it's unlikely, but maybe it's possible for Wii-DS wifi play?

@S0lid Sn4ke maybe but the graphics could be Wii like if they just waited and put it on 3DS.

Yeah, it'd definitely be possible. There are a few games here and there that utilize Wii/DS connectivity.

And there's [takes a deep breath] Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time [gasps for air]... which had a simultaneous Wii/DS release, and they could link up (locally or via NWFC) for multiplayer. Granted, though, the Wii version was essentially an emulated DS game (so it was either a really good-looking DS game, or a terrible-looking Wii game)... but even in the case where the games are different, they could still (possibly) communicate.

"perpetual mobile game port house n-Space" ... n-Space has shipped 7 DS titles and none of them have been ports.

It took me a while, and some googling, to find out why the name Daniel Craig keeps popping up in articles. I never did see anymore 007 movies after Goldeneye I'm afraid.

@Engerz If you want a more serious James Bond, definitely check out his two movies. Definitely makes up for his Tomb Raider role.

Casino Royale is a must, but skip Quantam of Solace.

It's weird how one sees films with people in it before they get famous. When you find out it makes you think "Woah, he/she was in THAT?!"

@gevenstaines

Final Fantasy Crystal Cronicles: Echos of Time and the Phoenix Write games are supposedly better on the DS than they are on the Wii but I have not played any of them so don't quote me on that.

No, they aren't, because the DS is a DS and the consoles are consoles.

Games built ground up for DS will be better on DS, and games built ground up for consoles will be better on console.

Just like how Real Time Strategy games only really work on PC and Cinematic adventure games only really work on consoles, the best DS games are built ground up for the DS.

Dose anyone else get a sinking, gut retching feeling about this news? I want to hope for the best but, just the fact the the "current bond" will be glued over the "other bond" really just makes me wonder, what else will be totally re-written for this remake. Will my favorite exploit be removed just because it wasn't supposed to be there?

I don't really want the game remade by someone else. There are so many things that could go wrong. However I am willing to wait and see just how much I might like it.

I had thought this was previously confirmed and am surprised that a lot of outlets are treating this as news, but i guess i was wrong, and it hadn't been.

"When rumors were flying about a new GoldenEye game just before E3, both Wii and DS versions were supposedly in the works. But when Nintendo and Activision made it official during the expo, only the Daniel Craig-ified Wii game was announced (despite the DS logo also appearing on the official game page)."

It's a conspiracy I tell you:

Nintendo invents the wii, makes it more profitable than the xbox 360.

They do this because they know Microsoft will try and copy them, using the Rare studio to make Wii-game clones for xbox 360.

Then "!bam!" Nintendo has a Goldeneye sequel.

^^ If you take that post seriously you are dumb.
