PSA: Gears of War 3 Carmine gear now available

The Gears of War 3 Avatar shirts that will determine the fate of Clayton Carmine are now available on the Xbox Marketplace for 80 MS points ($1), with proceeds being donated to Child's Play. We know that Gears Executive Producer Rod Fergusson wants another Carmine stuffed over some locust mantel, but we hope you'll think of Mama Carmine when making your purchase.

Those who couldn't care less about the fate of another bullet-magnet Carmine meat shield, but still want to donate to Child's Play, can do it directly on the charity's site. Also, in retrospect, we wish Epic had done something like this for Dom's interpretation of "till death do you part" in Gears 2. Links to queue up the Carmine shirt DLC can be found after the breaks.

Started playing gears 2 again back on July 4th weekend. Lots of nice improvements. Also having a ton go fun with all the maps for 10 bucks. Excellent deal but multiplayer is still intimidating. Shame it had such a rough launch.

Hmmm, my initial feeling is to save Los Tres Carmine. But then I would have to feel there was some story value to it. For the most part we only know there are 4 brothers (By the way I like the whole Saving Private Carmine Thought- kudos @ Quicksilver4648) but we know nothing else of who they are? The youngest Carmine (or youngest as we are to assume) was a greenhorn who couldn't keep his head down in a firefight, the dumb ass needed to be offed! El Numero Duo, well while he was a little more seasoned he also feel victim the Carmine Dumb ass gene, again he became nothing more than an unfortunate dying soul on our way to Dom's story. As for number 3, This Carmine looks like his sh't is together, mowing down locust like an Egyptian plague gone bad. However keeping with the Carmine Genome project he is bound to do some rather dumb things, guaranteed. So to that I hinge all my bets on the fourth brother. Kill the third and let the fourth live and lets find out who the hell he is and for gods sake show the mans face. Of course he could have an ugly mug and thus the balance of things must be laid even by eradicating the Carmine Gene from the face of Gears lore completely and as such Mama Carmine must become Berserker Bits.

I just bought the Carmine Must Die shirt. Now sick kids get games, and hopefully Carmine will die. Solely for continuity purposes. It's gonna irk me if he survives. Carmines were meant to die.

Carmine living doesn't mean they are killing off someone else from the main cast. DURR?!
