Transformers: War for Cybertron offers double XP this weekend

Transformers: War for Cybertron developer High Moon Studios is offering two distinct ways to accrue extra experience through the game this weekend. The first is by doubling all XP players earn in the game's multiplayer component from tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET until Monday at 3 a.m. ET.

The second way High Moon is offering extra experience is by logging onto Xbox Live tonight from 9 p.m. ET to midnight to play in some multiplayer matches against fans. Fine, you won't be earning any extra experience points while you do so, but think about what a positive life experience that would be. Ultimately, that's way more important, isn't it? Guys? Hello?

well at least my saturday is planned now.

I love this game but there are never any grand number of people online. Typically I see 300 or so. I also experience a lot of connection issues only with this game. I don't know why, but it has to be the server. Those two issues have been a big turn off for me and I rarely play the game online now. Maybe I will try again this weekend to see what happens.

I know what I'll be doing tommorrow night.. see if I'm still any good after 3 weeks of not playing, I just can't stick to one game I tried Escalation last night, there was only 1400 people playing.. Hopefully some of the leet players have moved on, though even I was getting to the top of the leader board on some matches ..and I'm the 'Carmine' on Gears matches

@Mazrael ..also, as I'm usually an Xbox man, I've actually been playing this on PS3.. hopefully they've sorted the lag..

I saw 4,400 playing the other day on XBLA.

@Reddjoey I'm pretty sure it splits the numbers between 'multiplayer' & 'Escalation' .. we also had the DLC on Tues/Wed which could of brought some people back, personally it's been my favourite MP game for competitive MP & horde..

I really love this game

Haven't got the new maps yet. Tried to play yesterday and i just kept getting booted til I got too frustrated and gave up. Hope I don't have the same problem this weekend.... Although I'd like to buy those maps anyways, really just haven't had the time to enjoy them

Love this game... but even double-XP isn't going to lure me away from StarCraft 2. I assume that's what this is all about, right?

I like this game but I find it hard to kill enemies online... I blame my internet connection.

I blame their lack of servers and planning....this is an awesome single player game, a lack of split screen and poorly implemented online multiplayer has hurt it...

Love the game and cant wait for some double XP, I do wish more people would be playting but how can I complain when I only picked the game up last week.
