seriously, is there a single person in the planet that doesn´t have all of this already??? i mean those old roms are available since a looooong time ago, and even though it´s funny to have them on the ds shouldn´t they just make ORIGINAL games instead of milking the nostalgic cow even more???

although shark shark!! was very cool.....

Yes, having any warez on a Nintendo-online service is tantamount to banishment, or a type of purgatory where non-existence is the endless toil.

So it's basically dead, is what I'm saying.

@Bowser Rogozhin: Actually, Intellivision Lives was made by the original Intellivision guys, who still own the rights to these games. It's totally legit, which explains how it's getting released on a cartridge now.

One of the games pictured is B-17 Bomber, which used the Intellivoice add-on to put speech in the game. This was super-hot stuff back in the day, and I played the hell out of that game. I want to play it again just to hear my Slim Pickens-sounding crewman drawl "Target in sight" one more time.

Realtime has been fighting like hell to put these games on the DS for years. It's about damned time they found a publisher.

I doubt they will be able to get current licensing for my favorite Intellivision game, AD&D...

At least Frog Bog might run a chance of being in the mix.

Although I enjoyed these games back in the day, many of these seem, I dunno... dull today or ill-suited on newer systems. I can appreciate that on the DS, they're able to replicate the keypad interface, and that's an interesting addition.... but it seems like visiting old friends have proven disappointing.

I'd be much more interested if the translated old computer games (Atari 800, Commodore 64, TI 994a) or old arcade game, or maybe later console games from Sega, Nintendo, or NEC.

CLASSIC I want me some Triple Action. My dad kicked as at Burger Time on Intellivision. SNAFU was cool, too. I miss this ish.

Beauty and the Beast was awsome too!
It was almost like the original mario where there are barrels being thrown at you and you need to climb ladders
(except in this game it was windows you were climbing), so awesome

That synthesized voice still haunts the back of my mind.

Anyone else notice that the author bad mouths a product here that he says, in his previous article, in regards to Nintendo not allowing emulation:

Because of this rule, we're missing out on the most authentic presentation of Intellivision games yet.

So, in May, this product was something you couldn't miss out on, but 2 months later "the publisher's putting a bunch of old games on a DS cartridge and selling it." Got to love hypocrisy.

I played the hell out of Tron on my Intellivision and still think of that game first when I look at that old console on the shelf. Loved that game!

Since I was four when I got this stuff, the only games I can swear that I had are AD&D: Cloudy Mountain, BurgerTime, Pitfall, Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man, Atlantis, Astrosmash, Bump 'n' Jump, Lock 'n' Chase, Soccer, and Space Armada. If by some miracle every single one of these games is included, I will buy this on launch day and steal my son's DS. I want to play that AD&D again SO BAD!!!
