LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy gets stuck in Limbo

Can't be bothered to pony up the $15 entry fee for Limbo? Don't fret, miser -- just check out PSN user bra2008's take on the Summer of Arcade title in the PS3 platformer platform, LittleBigPlanet. As seen in the video below, the level does a nice job of capturing the aesthetic of its inspiration.

LOL... I think he's pointing out the irony of someone named "The MARIO" who quotes himself as being a "360 User".... ;)

No spider means fail, it was the best part of the game imo.

people who say fail are beyond lame anymore. even more so when they say fail when something is clearly quite awesome.

Its really good but the over abundance of tips and bubbles kind of ruin the feeling of Limbo.

I really hope Limbo gets released on PSN. I want everyone to experience this game. It's just one of those special little games that came out of nowhere and totally captivated me.

I don't. Screw it, man, I'm tired of this whole "Let's just share" mentality, and how if you don't want games to go to the PS3 or 360 you're automatically a "fanboy". I just like games unique to my console. Is there anything wrong with that? I certainly like some games unique to the PS3, even though I obviously don't own one. I'd love to be able to play PixelJunk Shooter and Joe Danger on my 360, as I just like the controller and the system better in general, but you don't see me bitching and whining about it like PS3 fans whose bitching ends up getting them the game at least a year late, as is the case for BioShock, Braid, Castle Crashers (yet to be released), etc. etc. etc. etc.

How so? I think it pretty seamlessly moves from the savage wilderness to the industrial sector. Doesn't feel "tacked on" at all, especially considering that once you know what to do you can run through the game in about 45 minutes.

@Liquidfingers it's not hard to be seemless when it's black & white.. When I was playing through I couldn't help but think of LBP, all the better ways to die were in the first half, with the very occassional one later.. the whole spider encounter was the best part, funny when you mess it up and get stabbed through the head.. the parasite crap seemed like they weren't sure how to kill you, so make the kid commit suicide..

And why is that, exactly? How, exactly, do you know what is easy and what is hard in terms of conveying a seamless environment in a videogame? I'm curious to hear what you have to say. It appears to me as if you're just being too quick with Limbo. LBP it definitely is not, but then again it doesn't need to be. LBP = Retail title Limbo = Arcade -- there's no telling how awesome Limbo could have been if given the budget that LittleBigPlanet received.
Did you not find the death by razor to be a bit exciting/gruesome? Or how about the giant block trap? The parasites do not mean definite death or suicide, they're just a diversion and an extra element that adds another layer to some of the puzzles in the game. I found it quite rewarding once I figured out what to do when I had one of those little bastards in my head.

Wow, great job. It seems like LBP's limits are only those of the user's creativity. Very cool, indeed.
Also, I have to say that if you own a 360 you have got to buy Limbo. It's currently my favourite game of the year.

LBP to XBLA...
"Whatever you can do, I can do better."
In all seriousness, it looks awesome. I'll definitely be trying this out... I love the use of 3D and the aesthetics of the puzzles and atmosphere. Very well done, indeed.

Wow this looks WAY better than Limbo. I was not impressed with the gameplay of Limbo at all. The art and the idea are awesome but the gameplay is lame at least in the trial version. This looks great though and at least it gives you tips unlike the trial and error crap of Limbo.

You obviously don't understand the game, as that is the whole point of it. It's intentionally minimal and a "trial and error" type of game. Just look at the controller layout for God's sake.

Awesome level, I still hate the jumping... First thing I'll be doing in any levels I do is changing that default.
