One of the the things i've always wondered about the digital world, why the hell would you want a virtual dog when you can go to a store and buy one for the equivalent of the virtual pet game you wish to buy?

@WolfForager I had a Godzilla Tamagotchi when I was a kid.
Raised that thing for months, and then it died in a freak washing machine accident.

Last time I checked most of the dogs at my local store were about $800-1000 dollars. IIRC, I don't think kinnect is THAT much....
