Created by Kooberz Studios, the animation uses audio from the original StarCraft over some brick-elated visuals. The four and a half minute clip has everything the RTS series is known for: SCV resource collection, base-building, fog of war and a zerg rush by the Protoss that ends the whole thing before your tea even has time to steep. Check it out after the break.
StarCraft + LEGO = this video

Considering a LEGO StarCraft video game would require some mind-bending collaboration (or buyout) between WBIE and Activision-Blizzard, we'll just have to experience the fantasy through some stop-motion animation.

That was the best thing I have watched in a while. People are insane, but they are also extremely talented (or alternatively, they have a lot of free time on their hands).

that was amazing, the amount of stills they took to make it all smooth must have been a ton!
And the carrier swarm is pretty close to how my matches end up, thank god for battle.net ladders so i can play only with other people who suck just as much as i do LOL

I'm sure a mod wouldn't be too hard to pull off now that there's apps that make it super easy.

Mad props to the creator. This took a lot of talent, and I definitely loved the original sounds.

It's like the people in the beta. "He Battlecruiser rushed me!", or "He rushed me with Carriers!"
If you let him sit around and get to either Battlecruisers or Carriers, it is NOT a rush.

Very cool. Definitely cannot wait for someone to mod StarCraft II so this is a reality...
...now for some really technical geeky crap. It looks like the SCV starts to build the machine shop add on to the factory; This actually happens on it's own. Also, Goliaths can't use missiles against buildings... Ok, geek rant over. Still loved the video, made me smile.

Those dragoons were pretty OP; I'd think that a bunker with two marines and two firebats (who somehow had the dragoons in range) would have at least killed or injured one, but the siege tanks still had to do some massive damage to take them down.
Also, when did Goliaths shoot their hellfire missiles at ground targets like buildings?
But I'm nitpicking. It was still pretty amazing.

Wow.
That is just plain amazing.
Like not even the fact that they got the animations so smoothly, but the fact that they were able to recreate the buildings and units and have them actually LOOK like the real units. You could tell what each unit and building is by just looking at it. I love it when the siege tanks go into siege mode haha.

Goliaths > Carriers...
I guess that comparison isn't relevant anymore since goliath's aren't REALLY existent now...
