Plus Obama IS good at basketball. He's played against some real NBA players, and even scored a few baskets.

NBA Street was getting stale, but I'd take a go at Jam if it hits the 360.

Although I'd probably wait for the sequel that will be almost the same but more "finished," like ALL of EA's arcade sports titles.

Awesome! Clyde "the glide" Drexler is back in a NBA Jam game. Great idea to bring back those classic players.

Looks like a lot of royalty fees being paid out to a game coming out on a console that such game wouldn't really sell well on.

Agnes: "Gloria what is this NBA Jams game?"

Gloria "Its some football game with black guys"

Agnes: "Look at their heads, these kids"

Gloria: "Bowling or bridge?"

Agnes: "Sleep"

Arcadey games sell on Wii, and its hard to get a game more arcadey than this.

That trailer made me smile so hard my face hurts.

To the dude who didn't know why Obama should be in the game; The last time an NBA Jam came out, the current president was in it. You know, the one who was in office the day you were born?

@MLC

That's probably what the PS360 version is, if it actually exists. Whatever it is, it's distinct from the Wii version, because the two were rated without the third.

If they are seriously gonna do this EA needs to have special codes for EA characters just like Midway did when they had the series.

I'm talkin John Madden, Issac from Dead Space, Faith from Mirrors Edge, Commander Shepard and even some cars from Burnout if they can

What an amazing concept . . . make a sports video game that sacrifices realism for enjoyable gameplay . . .

This is the first time in ages I've seen a sports video game that looked like fun to play. Imagine!

@Black73

A new generation to experience it could potentially revive the franchise. If it were only on PS360, it would simply languish as a relic of nostalgia like most retro revivals on those platforms. Wii has made at least one modern revival into a bona fide phenomenon, and it could do so again.

@Black73
Oh right because the 360-only and PS3-only gamers are so friendly to nostalgia-games.

I'm definitely not saying none of that crowd appreciates nostalgia, but I'm definitely saying a large amount of those crowds are the LOUDEST COMPLAINERS of nostalgia-games.
... a variety of blog comments, forums, and review site user comments can attest to that. In the same evidence do you see absolutely ZERO complaints from the Wii crowd (which is a mix and match of new gamers, old gamers, and gamers who haven't played in years).

I'm not saying the game shouldn't be on the PS3 or 360, but if you're going to compare anything- the Wii is the one that deserves this game the MOST by comparison of crowd appreciation.

I'd like nothing better than to take a team of legends and beat the ever-loving crap out of the Miami Heat and their roster of spoiled brats. It'll give me SOME solace as I watch them cruise their way to a title and wave their bare asses at karma the entire way.
