If Asteroids is deserving of a movie adaptation, then no video game in all of creation is off the table -- a maxim proven by Half Day Today's inspiring trailer for The Oregon Trail: The Movie, which you'll find after the jump. (And yes, before you ask, there's dysentery.)

Never thought I'll see the day when M. Knight name would be mention on the same line as Uwe Boll but I guess he does deserve it... His name is Aanga M. Knight.

ok fine, shyamalan's not gaining any popularity these days, but to say that he's anywhere near as bad as uwe boll? i mean c'mon, that's ridiculous.

I had always thought The Oregon Trail would be a good idea for a reality show. Have people nowadays actually make the trek from the east coast to Willamette Valley, with oxen and all... but during modern times.

I really loved the trailer, and I bet it would have a been a fun shoot to be a part of, but I'm so sick of that Edward Sharpe song. At least in the God Of War trailer it was ironic because of it's overuse as an Indie Staple. Here it just makes no sense.
