Scott Pilgrim is clearly a man with a lot on his mind, but if you'd like to add to his pre-existing romantic burden, you'll be able to do so with the help of a few undead aggressors. As revealed in a trailer posted by Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (and, perhaps more appropriately, Shaun of the Dead) director Edgar Wright, the upcoming film's video game adaptation will feature some sort of zombie survival mode accessible through the main menu.
Of course, you'll need a bit of know-how in order access the mode. On the game's title screen, simply input down, up, right, down, up, right, down, up, right, right, right -- that's "DUR DUR DURRR," the universal mating call of all undeadkind -- and then prepare to press whatever the "Punch" button might be on the console upon which you're playing the game. Prepare to press it a lot.

Already have this game pre-ordered. Can't say I have the same hype going for the movie, though...

@Jetup; Cool beans, thanks! Can't say a Home item is enough of an enticing bonus though, can't wait for the game at least.

I had the fortune of playing the game and seeing the movie at San Diego.
I can say they are both pretty darn entertaining.
The fact is though if you aren't a Micheal Cera fan the film isn't going to change your mind.

This is actually what makes him perfect to play Scott Pilgrim. Scott Pilgrim IS that same character that Cera has played so much, and as such, a perfect fit.

I'm guessing you can't preorder the XBLA version?

Well, it's either a zombie, or your average console fanboy.

Getting this for free thanks to a giveaway. I would have payed full price for it too, but can't turn down an offer for a free game, especially when it's as good as Scott Pilgrim. The game looks fan-freaking-tastic, and the music is rocking.

If I didn't have an intense loathing of any Survival-style gametype, I would consider this good news. As it stands, though, it doesn't make me regret my preorder.

Zombies are a nice touch, but the real icing on the cake is the code itself.

But are there zombie babies? Bursting from the guts of pregnant mother zombies?

One more week! Excited. This game just looks like so much fun. When I saw the RPG style stores in it, that totally blew my mind. I hope we see a lot more from Paul Robertson in the future.

Wicked looking game! The movie makes me gag tho :(
Luckily the game has more than enough charm to make up for the movie and its inevitable squad of half assed sequels

I really wish I was going to have a TV and an internet connection (or a home) when this game comes out.
Rereading the books in preparation for the movie. So awesome.
